I personally had the pleasure to play at Basketball613 for almost a year and I can say that I thoroughly enjoy every bit of it. The games were fun and catered to different levels; Harry was very a friendly and nice guy who put in a lot of effort in organising the games and making sure they run smoothly at various spots in and around the city. If you enjoy basketball and some good company, I say disregard the clearly biased and unjustified negative reviews and come ready to hoop.

Basketball613 is a fun community of people playing social basketball. I’ve been playing with them since 2015 and still enjoy every bit of it.You get to meet a fun bunch of people of various skill levels. You self select the level of competition you need here and compared to variety of places that I’ve tried out, this is the best social basketball experience in Melbourne.

Basketball613 is one of the best communities to not only play 'ball but also socialize with many people from different cultural backgrounds. I've been playing here for almost two years now and never been happier. I've tried playing at other clubs too but this one's the best one ever! Big thanks to the organizers for introducing me to this club and is a happy environment to be in.

Different levels of games cater for different levels of play. The competitive level is just right. Also the flexibility it offers is fantastic for people with busy family life but still want to squeeze in one or two social games when they can. Harry is friendly and helpful and the usual players there are fun to hang out with.

I started playing with this group in 2013, having completely no basketball experience whatsoever (a complete beginner). It was just so refreshing to be amongst such a friendly group of people which gave so much encouragement to me to help build my skills and on the court confidence.Fast forward 7 years, and I can definitely say that being with this group has shaped me as a person. The friendships built, the networks made, the skills gained, having a healthy mind and being fit, the list is endless.My first game back after taking a break (post-baby) brought back so many good memories and it was so great to see familiar faces and new people. Great to see how the level of competition has grown since (players are getting fitter and skilled up!) plus seeing families (father and son), youth (18 year olds) on the court playing together gives such a warm feeling.Thank you Basketball 613 and the players, you have definitely made and impact!

Great for casual basketball matches, everyone seems to be lovely there. Harry Bosh (the owner) can be difficult to deal and unapproachable sometimes. When you ask a genuine question, but he thinks it's straight-forward and stupid, he can respond in a condescending manner.

Longed for team sports after a long demanding uni degree, but never had the time for a weekly committment to a competition- then found basketball 613 in 2017. Have been playing ever since and loved every minute of it.Basketball 613 has been designed from the bottom up and excels in the website design, the booking system, its diverse list of venues and firm rules and policies to name just a few.A credit to Harry and Jo, they have forged a remarkable community of people who come to switch off and play a game that we all love when they can.Cant wait to return after covid ends!

Harry does a great job of organising basketball games that accommodate all levels of skill.Harry has also gone above and beyond during the COVID-19 complications and has successfully organised outdoor basketball sessions that again take into consideration players level of abilities.I would recommend Basketball613 to anyone new to Melbourne who's looking to play at any level of basketball and meet likeminded people!
