Fabulous development with new townhomes being built in a fabulous city location

We would not build with cedar woods or recommend them at all, once they get your money they don’t want to know you or answer emails or phone calls mostly.As for customer service there is none.They are definitely not there for the customer.We built a townhouse at fletcher slip about 5 months ago,while it was still under construction.We asked if we could have provisions installed for ceiling fans and heat lamps at our cost as it would be to hard after, because of the roof space. We were told that we can’t change anything off the plans, yet the daughter of the cedar woods development director just a couple of townhouse’s away with exactly the same house was allowed to have heaps of changes inside and outside from the original plan’s, including heat lamps and ceiling fans.This is so unfair as none of the residents allowed any changes.After we have moved in we realised that our master bedroom door was changed from the plan’s and opening out onto our living area, interfering with our curtains, because of bad design by cedar woods we couldn’t have it opening into our bedroom as there’s no room and hits the bed, it should’ve been an in cavity door or at the very least a barn door their solution was and the cheapest way out was was to reverse it.We have paid a lot of money for our place and we do not want the door opening onto our living area which we can’t even fully open open because it hits our curtains,they would not compromise at all, we offered to install a barn door at our cost as it is to expensive installing a in cavity door now ,if they at least move the light switch for us which is on the wrong side of the door as you enter and 300mm away from the door jams because they reversed the door from the original plan’s they refused to do that also.Once they have your money they don’t want to sort any problems after and just ignore you.Just be careful when building a BELTANA TOWNHOUSE and you don’t wish the master bedroom door opening onto your living area or restricted to what curtains you install.These are just a few examples of the issues we have experienced with cedar woods.They are selfish, money focused and quantity and starting up new developments before finishing off, to them is way more important than quality or their customers.To say that we are very disappointed does not even begin to describe how we are feeling.This process has caused us unnecessary stress when this should be one of the more exciting times of our lives.We have been robbed of the joy of moving into a brand new home that we have worked so hard for.

Went there once and fell in love with some of the new estates. Already bought one.

This place is a true nightmare to find your way around it even with Google maps. It's worse then a rabbit warren that's gone wrong

Wouldn't live there unless I worked there. Much better developments going on in adelaide.

Great to see a fascinating Central school of art exhibition here.Nestled in some of the original buildings is the Art school.Good to see them including some life in the pop up close to city accommodation cluster that is now Glenside 2021.

We thought the playground for residents and we bought an apartment that my children can play as well. It's fully crowded from outside people and no space for residents at all in weekends. Management must find the way to manage this. So disappointing with facility. We were invited for the playground opening from Cedarwoods and checked our invitations from each resident. We were advised at the point of sale playground for residents only.
