where do i start?The staff at Mccartney family funerals are Amazing, the way they treated our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother was so beautiful from the embalming make up/hair honestly she was always beautiful but Tracey did a fantastic job, and just by looking at my grandma you can easily see that she was handled with respect and excellent Care. not only were they gracious with the whole covid 19 they were so professional and sympathised with us and allowed us to mourn and grieve our beloved in peace.thankyou again for everything from the flowers, order of service and then to her final resting place everything ran smoothely and perfect in our eyes all the team and staff at McCartney funerals we appreciate you all and thankyou again grandma would of been so happy and satisfied with her care by you all. love always the Toloa and Mafoe family

Bryan at McCartney Family Funerals looked after our family in March 2020 after our father (and Mum's husband) passed away.After doing some research, we decided on this business and we are so immensely glad we did.Bryan provided caring and compassionate care right from the start with the utmost degree of professionalism. He was so patient with us and let us grieve when we needed to.Just what is needed during a difficult time.He even made sure that the urn was delivered to our mother in her nursing home during lockdown.We are so thankful and would not hesitate for a second to recommend him to friends, family or anyone else reading this review. My family and I have nothing but praise for McCartney Family Funerals . Special praise goes to Suzie Philp. Suzie was our initial , and only contact for the planning of our beloved mums service. Due to family travel complications from overseas , we had 7 weeks to plan the funeral . Suzie kept it real , and personal and never failed to add her genuine sense of care, respect and humor throughout the entire process. On the actual day of the funeral , we felt as if Suzie had actually become part of our own family. Having planned funerals in the past with morbid funeral companies , that have no personal connection with grieving families, the initial task was terrifying. We are so very lucky , and eternally grateful that we found this business . For such an excruciatingly sad time in our lives , Suzie and her team took the reigns and guided us all the way.

Was told by one of the funeral director's my father would be dressed in clothes provided by them for viewing, before cremation, when I clarified this with another staff member, she curtly informed me they were a funeral home not a department store. This was incredibly distressing. Rather than an apology, I was told the staff member was driving at the time of the phone call.I received an excuse and was told quite coldly that we needed to move forward. Regarless, of your in-depth discussion on compassion with the staff member, there was no forthcoming apology or acknowledgement for the snide comment made by the staff member. My entire interaction with McCartney Funerals, including your response to this review, has been devoid of compassion.

We lost our grandmother and our family was in total despair. During the grieving process the last thing you really want to be thinking about is organising the farewell for your loved one. The McCartney team assisted us each step of the way to organise the funeral, and they helped to support our family through this difficult time. The team was a delight to work with and will always recommend their services.

Couldn’t be happier. McCartney Family Funerals helped by brother through a dreadful time with compassion and understanding. Sonya went the extra mile to help and really gave it the personal touch only a family run business can. They feel like old friends now, and you can’t ask better than that!

Leanne and her team did a great job of arranging a memorial service for us. She was easy to contact, and made lots of practical suggestions as to what we should organize, and what she could do for us. She suggested a lovely venue near the water at Cleveland, and arranged for the service to be live streamed to those who could not attend. The quality of the recording was excellent. Imogen conducted the service with sensitivity and professionalism. The sandwiches and scones and biscuits provided were delicious. We would highly recommend McCartney Family Funerals.
