The Never Never river is crystal clear and so cold even although the weather was balmy hot. No one around just me and Hamish. Dogs are free to swim and stroll around off leash. Please do the right thing and take dog poo bags. This river is exquisite!

What a stunning area to hang out at!Crystal clear water - very cold and refreshing! Fun to float down with the current. Bring your floaties!There are some rope swings too. Such a pretty mix of water and rainforest.The road in is narrow and many potholes but any car could make it still.Lots of mozzies tho :(A real gem of a place :D

The promise lands, is where this reserve is. It is located next to pristine swimming and family location. Very popular has side Rd parking, but plenty of room. For every one maybe a little inaccessible for those less mobile as the ground is rocky and uneven. Highly recommend this beautiful part of the country as a must visit.

The Promised Land. Haven't visited here since I was 10 yrs old. Rope swing is in the same place 37 yrs later. Great memories.
