Tracey gave me a lash lift and tint, and a brow wax/tint/lamination and she did such an amazing job. She was friendly, helpful, great to chat with and left me feeling very happy. Thanks so much ❤️

The staff were so lovely when I arrived and the salon itself had a really nice vibe with the cocktail lounge etc. It was my first visit there during a work trip and I went for a lash tint and lift. It was very pricey ($100) but I was sure it would be worth the money.Unfortunately the tint wasn’t noticeable and I ended up leaving and meeting my work crew with them not seeing any results.I’d explained to the staff at the salon that our work does require noticeable make up during work hours, and that unfortunately my lashes still looked blonde and the tint may not have taken to my lashes.They responded saying they would like to help and to send photos. I provided many photos and then received no word back. I left it three weeks then contacted them once more to again not receive any response.Maybe other services there are worth the money but I would advise against going to Brooklyn bar for lash lifts and tints based on my first and last experience.

Always quite stressful finding new service providers when you move cities, so I was rapt with my experience here.I’ve been a long time user of beauty treatments and over the years I’ve encountered some of the best - and worst! So now my standards and expectations are very high.Easy online booking, fab range of services on offer, everyone runs on time so you’re not hanging around waiting, super clean and comfortable.All the staff are delightful. So far this year (it’s mid-Feb) I’ve had a meticulous BIAB mani (gorgeous glazed long almond nails); lash lift & tint (no stinging eyes which I always get); brow shape & tint (very detailed colour consideration to get the perfect dark ashy blonde); and a lovely pedi with the scrub & hot towel treatment.Booked in next week for a brow lamination, and following up with the platinum hydro facial to get a birthday glow up next month.Love BBB!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel very disappointed after todays experience. I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue but believe I was left with an inexperienced technician who cut my nails far too short and the shape is not what I asked for. They were then overfiled to correct the shape but look worse. I was told they couldn’t even accommodate what I’d booked it and I had to forfeit one of my services. I won’t be returning after today given my nails feel quite painful now.

I have been a client of Brooklyn Beauty Bar for several years and I never hesitate to recommend them.I visit Brooklyn BB for my hair and beauty treatments including lashes, pedicures and spray tans. I’m made to feel welcome by all of the team as soon as I arrive.Nikita is an amazing hairdresser and I have never been happier with my hair. Not only is her work fantastic, she is efficient, friendly and works hard to make sure you leave the salon feeling great about yourself. Nikita worked with me to find a cut and colour that is both on trend and flattering. She has also helped me to learn how to maintain and style my hair in between visits which is invaluable.Alisha has been my go to for lashes, brows and event makeup for several years and she always does an outstanding job. Alisha is relatable, kind and works hard to get you the best result and one that you feel comfortable with. Getting a spray tan can be a vulnerable process however Alisha was able to put me at ease and to ensure I got the outcome and colour that I was chasing. I always look forward to my appointments because I know that I will get a great result and it is a pleasure to deal with the staff.I have also been part of several large groups where we had pedicures and manicures and everyone had a fantastic time.

Amazing nails if you book with one of the Master nail technicians! I've never tried BIAB before my visit to Brooklyn beauty bar and am now hooked - it has really lasting results even though I work in a kitchen every day and am frequently washing my hands. The new owner is really friendly and always present checking in with clients so even though it is one of Brisbane's larger salons, it still feels personalised. Can't recommend enough!

Highly recommend the Express nails party for bridal parties a few days pre-wedding. We enjoyed the experience and the quality of the work was great. The spray tans also turned out perfectly!

This is my second and last time at BBB. The treatments are fine, but the service is terrible. Ladies around me were engaged in lively conversation, while I was constantly shunned and left sitting/lying in silence. Regulars were ushered straight in and offered drinks (which would be a good way of creating new regulars). I received little post-treatment follow-up care instruction for my brows, and a rushed pedicure completed by the poor receptionist (who had to keep running in and out). Certainly not the 'luxury' experience is it sold as.

I’ve been going to Brooklyn Beauty Bar since my mum first took me there to get my eyebrows threaded many years ago! Since they’ve upgraded their facilities I now go see Holly for my cut, colour, blow drys! (She does the best blondes and curls ever!).They are the best value in James Street and the service is hands down impeccable! But you name it these girls do it! They are all so lovely and welcoming and have the best knowledge to tailor any of their services to your needs! I certainly didn’t know I would need a violet based tan before going to these girls!Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a pamper day there with the girls/hubby and be sure to try a delicious Brooklyn Lady cocktail whilst you’re there…you won’t regret it!

I booked here once for a friend's hens nails over the phone. While we were there, they informed us that they didn't have enough time to do extensions therefore we couldn't get them.I then booked in January for my wedding in November (11 months in advance) with my 2 bridesmaids for a group" booking with nails and toes. I made sure to email them letting them know exactly what i was wanting and for extensions to ensure that i had booked enough time during this appointment to get them done. I just received an email that they don't have enough staff or time to do 1 person's extensions.I thought booking 11 months in advance would allow them to organize themselves to accommodate THREE people getting nail extensions on TUESDAY. I am extremely disappointed and won't be bothering to try again."
