Nice atmosphere in a beautiful location. We sat by the window looking out at the seaport. Service was friendly, professional and prompt. Mango Lassi was one of the best I’ve ever had! We had Palak Paneer which was delicious. My favourite was the chick pea fritters, oh and the garlic & cheese naan. We drove up along the east coast from Hobart this morning and Indian food won the vote! Highly recommend this place

Had such a delicious meal here, four of us had the banquet and a few beers and wine.A really enjoyable feed and a cute and cozy restaurant. Loved the decor and the look of the place, there are really cool notes left on the walls from previous patrons.The food was unreal and we were so full afterwards. Highly recommend.

Fairly slow service. Meals ok, but not the best in town.Choice of breads great (better than other restaurants) , but most entrees and mains did not impress

Beautiful Indian cuisine. The service was great and the dishes were extremely tasty. Loved the naan breads! It’s in a great spot on the water. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Okay. I used to love this place. It was always busy, the food good, the staff great, and the prices were reasonable.Sadly this is no longer the case in all but one category, but it’s a significant one.I dined tonight, and it cost me 85 bucks. I had samosas, lamb Rogan Josh, two beers, one garlic naan, rice and some pickles. It was pretty empty and I’m assuming this was because of the pricing change. Last time I was there it was packed. Not sure if it’s changed hands but I assume it has. Sad as I won’t be going back. I should note that the staff were excellent.

Had the Sunday lunch special with another couple. The vindaloo was seriously lacking in heat, as in spicy heat. The dahl was ok. The naans and poppadom were as they should be. The rice was rice, cooked well. The mango lassi was quite nice. Service was friendly enough. It was fairly quiet, which suits me. Probably less than half a dozen tables. For $20.90 each it was quite acceptable, but if you're a big eater like me, don't expect to come away feeling full. I have been here a good few years ago, and was underwhelmed, the trend seems to continue.

Walking by the river, I stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The service was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.

The atmosphere was fantastic, beautiful and absolutely authentic. Beautiful staff and wonder service. I'm very particularly about my Indian cuisine, as I have very deep folded connections with my heritage. The spice lounge charmed me beyond what I could imagine. Food is genuinely lit with beautiful flavours and amazing taste. I loved the butter chicken with naan and the authentic lamb Rogan. Superb and just perfectly cooked with that branded touch of spice house spice. I'm looking forward to another authentic experience soon.

My wife & I and friends (2 Couples) had the pleasure of visiting your lovely restaurant for dinner on 11/02/23. The location & ambience is absolutely wonderful. The aroma of the food as you walk inside really fires you up. Our waitresses, Rajinder, Komal and Muskan (Sorry if I missed anyone) were the best ever. Their warm & caring nature is certainly noticeable. We loved being asked to grade our meals to our required needs. We all chose different menu options. All of us were completely satisfied with every dish. The flavour & taste was excellent. Compliments to the chef. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely restaurant to everyone. You will NOT be disappointed.
