The Ash is nothing like Forrest Gumps box of chocolates, because you always know what you’re going to get.Friendly staff, great food at a reasonable price, clean rooms, big screen tv’s showing all the sport you could ask for, and all in a great location.I wish I had another 2 hands so I could give this place 4 thumbs up!

The staff who waited our table was rude didn't speak very nicely seemed in patient my meal was nice. In the end I even had to walk over to the bar to ask where my grandsons and my desert was the bar staff were alot more polite towards me than the waitress who waited our table. It was Wednesday 10/5/23 table 15 sorry but we won't be coming back

Had a complaint about my dining experience so I went on the website and sent an enquiry. A week later no response so I send another enquiry. Still no response so I'm forced to call them. Staff there tell me they will tell the manager I called. Venue manager Samantha Frigo finally replied to my enquiries meaning they did receive my enquiries and was just ignoring me for no reason. Reply back to manager, manager doesn't reply. A week later I send another email. Manager ignores me again...Giving a one star review because of terrible customer service. Replying to someone's emails is free, quick and easy, so ignoring someone's valid complaints means you just clearly don't care about your customers at all. Very disappointing.

Lovely staff always welcoming and lovely when we come. Great food service and the place is a great vibe for drinks and dinner! 10/10 place! I'd recommend this to everyone!

It was fantastic to have a really enjoyable meal on our sixth day of travelling interstate. The meals we ordered couldn't be faulted, and arrived in a timely manner. The service was excellent with friendly staff, who took the time to ensure we were all content with our experience. Highly recommended.

Kids meals were great size, got the parmi was pretty tasty, the dressing on the salad was actually really nice, chips were cooked great to. Could have more selective beer but not a huge deal.

Beer cold, wine nice, rump steak cooked within an inch of its life like the chef had a vendetta against cows and looked at the request for 'medium' and just laughed before stoking up the flame thrower to maximum.Chips were good though.

Stayed a couple of time due to working on the weekends, close by.We start very early so it would be easy to to be self absorbed and criticize the noise but, it’s a Saturday night at a pub.Overall our experience was very good.All the staff we very friendly and helpful. Check in was simple. The food is good pub food for a fair price. The rooms were clean. We would definitely stay again, just not on a Saturday night when we have to work.Oh, the only real negative is the hot water takes forever to heat up and at 4am, it’s not the best start to the day.

Nice place, the staff are friendly. I had dinner there last time I went. Had the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccolini. It was ok the salmon was definitely not fresh. Mash needed more seasoning. It was pricey for an overall ok dinner.

The price is good and the rooms as practical - nice that parking is free for guests! The shared showers had some issues, as some could not be locked or rubbish was left inside for more than a day. All in all it was a good choice for us to stay two days there!
