Went here for the first time today, just to get a family meal for tonight (typically, I go to Australian Butchers, Boronia, for a months supply, but being in lockdown, I just wanted to get in, get out). I chose lamb shanks. My goodness, THE most tender meat we've had. Very friendly service, excellent prices (cheaper than Coles), and I can't recommend this place more than enough. Extremely satisfied. I'll be back!

Don't want to give any star but cannot post without it. I just purchased a whole Angus Tasmanian grass fed scotch fillet in a vacuum pack, which he said weighed to be just over 2 kg. The price listed in the display cabinet is $54.99 per Kg. We asked the butcher to slice the scotch fillet. I was charged $134.60. I just live up the road so when at home I immediately weighed the cut up scotch fillet steaks and it was 2.21 kg just as he had said when he weighed it before opening the vacuum pack. The cost should have been $121.53. My father and I immediately went back to the butcher to query the massive price difference and we were told that when the vacuum pack was opened a lot of fluid had run out from the vacuum pack plastic hence the $13.00 difference!!! I told him I have never in my life experienced this! $13.00 worth of liquid in the vacuum pack. Very dishonest butcher and business. He told us it was just over 2 kg when he weighed it before opening the vacuum pack so no liquid had come out at all after opening it. I will take this up with consumer affairs.
