You can get a reasonable price for scrap there. And the guy on the door doesn't try to rip you like so many other scrap yards do.

Unbelievably appalling to hear your company discriminates against customers who are not fully vaccinated and refuse all business from these customers. Claiming its a requirement because your business is providing essential services to the public is a disgusting excuse. How is it that I was able to have an X-ray last week at a clinic and dental work performed this week without being asked if I was fully vaccinated. Are they not essential services as well.Shame on you Sue !!!!

I have been selling my old scrap to Highett for a number of years now. Working as an electrician means that I often have old wiring and other metal lying around that I no longer need or can use so, instead of throwing it into the rubbish, I have found great comfort in being able to sell it on for recycling. I have always found the team to be pleasant and helpful - it's nice to walk in and be greeted by name. Personal service really isn't all that come these days, so it's nice to see that some good old fashioned customer service still exists.

Great here, easily drive in with all types of scrap metal, and they individually weigh everything and give a printout of your selection, each individually priced per kilo. Great service. Can also drop of iron for free!

Quick response on the phone and readily gave prices that they offer for scrap metal. But the price per kg was about 20% below others.

Great, friendly customer service. No minimum (like others that won't bother with anything under a tonne). $ for some stainless steel and copper, pocketed enough for a nice carton of beer to end the week.

I went to cash in some scrap and they refused service because I wasn't vaxxed. Absolutely appalling behaviour Sue.i wouldn't even give you one star if that was possible...boycott this business and there discriminating behaviour ..who do you think you are!!!!!

You get the feeling you're interrupting their day. Which I guess we are, coming in with my sons aluminium can collections. It's not a high dollar amount he collects together, but at least people could be more pleasant. One worker doesn't even speak to you. If pressed will give monosyllabic replies. Office woman very frosty. One day someone in that place will crack a smile or exude some warmth and I will be shocked.
