Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Melbourne Airport

I was railroaded into extra charges and provided with a terrible car.I am still owed $377.95 after more than a month.I never received the $250.00 security deposit nor the $250.00 settlement for loss of time and problems with the car.Instead, on May 25 (1 month after returning the car) they have posted another $40 plus charge to my credit card.Worst experience I've ever had renting a car after 35 years of renting from Enterprise.

Hired a car and returned it, the customer service agent didn't come out and inspect the car on return and asked if they car had any damage and if it had been filled up with fuel (answers no to damage and yes to filled up). Get an email with an extra credit charge card with no reason for the extra charge. I reached out and was informed that the extra charge was because the car was not full of fuel when returned. I requested a refund and produced a photo of the car filled up (time stamp on the dashboard). They processed the refund almost 2 weeks later (several emails later) and sent me a new invoice demanding we pay for the full rental again. Be very careful with extra charges on your credit card. I'd consider using a different car rental company.

Every time I come to Melbourne I use Enterprise Cars at the airport- always friendly and personable - great explanation of how to return the car .This time I hired a MG SUV - loved it and may consider buying this car as my next new one - very happy with the year on year service and will support again next time I am in Melbourne

A warm welcome and efficient friendly staff, with a great light cheery banter. Great value for the MG car which I hired. The car was clean, fresh and just out of the packet. Ease of drop off and no hitches, thanks to Ian and team! More than satisfied.

The attendant 'Ian' on the evening was fantastic, my flight was late which meant i arrived 20 minutes after the office was closed. Ian was still there and he opened up to enable me to hire the car. It was very appreciated at 10.20 pm on a Friday night

The car I reserved wasn't ready when I got there at the reservation time. After waiting over an hour, they finally allocated me another car.27 days after I returned the car, my credit card was charged with an additional $47, an an email receipt for that amount was sent to me without providing any details of why I had an additional charge. When I emailed into the customer service email address stated in the email, the email bounced back stating that the email address is incorrect! You would think that at the very least, a company like Enterprise would get their basic facts like emails address correct! Now I am faced with an additional charge with no other way of finding out more about why I had this fee imposed except to make a long distance call to their help line.I think it is highly unethical for rental car companies to be keeping your credit card info and charging you any amount without proper justification even almost a month after returning the car, especially when there is seemingly no recourse the customer can take. Such practices must be stopped.

We got a nicer class of car than we had booked for no extra charge. During the rental some minor damage occurred to the car and they didn't make a big deal of it (I brought it up myself) and they charged pretty much in line with what I thought it would cost to fix rather than gouging us, even though I didn't have the 'premium' insurance. Will rent with them again.

For me the most important aspect of renting a car is easy drop off and pick up - and fast kind customer service. Both aspects are really well done/ organized for all my Australian Enterprise Rentals so far. Enterprise ad the Melbourne airport was a great experience.

I had to get a car last minuet and the enterprise team were extremely helpful in my time of need. I am a cooperate member of an other hire company and they were unwilling to even look around for me. The car was nice enough even though it had 85000km on the clock witch is high for a hire car but i had no issues with it at all. The best part was the price i was given on the day included full insurance, road side assist and no bond and i don't know any of the other company's to do that. Belinda's empathy for my situation was felt and she did everything in her power to get me on the road as soon as she could. Belinda's customer service was outstanding and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your efforts.

Great experience renting with Enterprise!Pick up process was so smooth even though I had booked through a third-party. It was so pleasant to be met with the warmness of Belinda after our long flight. Was also great that they accepted digital versions of my driver license and identification card, which wasn't the case with my experience with another Australian car rental co.The best part was that I was given a brand new car. Needless to say the car was very clean and smooth to drive.
