Bunnings Smithfield

Very big and good area with huge parking place. But fee things are not good enough.1- some of the shelves were empty.2- toilets were not clean.3- all the staffs were so friendly and helpful except one at front door was un polite , who stopped me for taking photos. And when I asked him why I am not allow to take photos he said it’s policy!!!!!!

Please check your receipts over charged by $36.00 for poolHY-CHOL super shock chlorine.Staff refunded without problems but its not first time I have been overcharged.

Bunnings Smithfield is a large and well-stocked hardware store with a wide range of tools, materials, and equipment for all sorts of DIY projects. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to help and offer advice. The store is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. There are plenty of parking spaces available, even on busy weekends, and the location is easily accessible by car. The only downside is that it can get quite busy on weekends, and there can be long lines at the checkout. Overall, Bunnings Smithfield is a great place to shop for all your DIY needs, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality hardware and friendly service.

Great big store with the usual stuff and a kids play area with a cafe too. And toilets are available too.

Very nice and friendly staff. In half an hour or so 3 to 4 different staff asked us in case we need any help. Huge hardware store with ample to variety for all hardware related necessity. Their return policy is also very flexible as we had to return the product we got but no hassle in refund.

I had to buy a travertine paver in the Garden section at Smithfield yesterday. It was incredibly heavy so I asked Maya (I hope that is how I spell her name) if she would help. Maya was so incredibly helpful, she went out of her way to choose a tile that was going to suit my purpose. She was professional, knowledgable and lovely. I cannot thank her enough for going out of her way to help. Well done Bunnings for employing amazing people. The other person was a young man named Riley. Riley escorted me to my car so he could lift the very heavy tile into my vehicle and after several attempts to place it in the right spot (the car was brand new and we did not want to mark the seats) he secured it. Riley as with Maya was fabulous as well. You know these great employees make shopping at Bunnings an even better experience. Bunnings please pass on my thanks to these 2 wonderful people.

Recently did a DIY kitchen reno and ordered all my cabinets through Bunnings at Smithfield. Fadi who works at the Kitchen Orders desk assisted me from my very first enquiry all through to delivery of the cabinets. He was very informative and gave me updates when materials were delayed - super efficient!On one of my trips I underestimated how heavy floor tiles can be and a kind staff noticed and helped me loaded my trolley. When I got to my car again it was too heavy and another staff noticed and helped me loaded onto the Ute. I was so touched by their kind gesture because doing a reno by yourself is so stressful and mentally draining.Smithfield is my new favourite store - all the staff is just so lovely! Highly recommend.

I’ve been regular customer of Bunnings Smithfield for the past 3 years and I always buy from this store. last time I shopped there was 2 days ago on 12 June, spent about $85. I was hoping to get some boxes for moving home storage that day but there were no boxes in Bunnings Smithfield on 12 June. So I came back today but was told by the older guy at store entrance that I was not allowed to get more than 2 boxes. He said the boxes are for Bunnings customer and because I didn’t shop today I’m not treated as a customer. There was NO sign, website T&C or whatsoever saying that you can only get 2 boxes. The staff spoke to me very rude like I’m stealing those few boxes from them. It was really bad experience if you only allow 2 boxes you should put a clear sign there so people like me won’t be treated like a thief for taking a few small boxes. Also it was a shame that Bunnings Smithfield only consider people as a “customer” the moment when they shop but after that they don’t care.

The first time I have been in this store. Shelves are well packed and the store is set out well and easy to find what you want. Plenty of parking and good access from either direction as it's on the Cumberland highway. There is lifts from the carpark so wheelchair accessible.
