Crookwell Veterinary Hospital

In early January 2022, I was visiting Crookwell with my 15 year old kelpie, when he had a seizure one night at 9pm. After a frantic internet search for a local vet, Tess from Crookwell Vet Hospital was with us within five minutes. Tess took great care of my beloved boy and was like an angel in our time of need. Words can’t describe how grateful I am for her care and reassurance.Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my boy five days later. On a brighter note, we had three lovely days at the Crookwell Caravan Park prior to this unexpected seizure.

We just got home from the Crookwell Vets with Tilly, our 13 year old Curly Coated Retriever. Tilly had what appeared to be a growth on a toe nail which was very sore. She would not allow us to touch or examine it. On examination at the Vet Hospital she also had what appeared to be a swollen lymph node. We were concerned that she had a cancer. A needle biopsy of the node showed it was a lipoma, not cancerous. While under anaesthetic the toe nail and a granulomatous lump was removed and Tilly is much happier (and so are we).This was a highly competent and caring treatment by a country veterinary practice.

Quality care, and animal care is first and foremost, not the money. I travel almost 2 hours to go to this veterinary clinic. The team are kind and caring and tell you exactly how it is. The fact they have Humm is a game changer, hopefully that brings in more customers who require care but hold back due to pricing.

Brilliant service, very helpful and could not have been more caring of our little kelpie pup when she got herself into some strife. Love having this service in our community. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience yesterday, due to Covid they won't let anyone inside which I believe is a bit far fetched, my dog was freaking out having to be dragged inside by himself. Then they tell me their is an extra $20 fee to not making a booking, they expect you to make a booking for an emergency! From an already overpriced experience is absolutely absurd.

Very friendly, understanding, compassionate and professional. They are a great team of people and an asset to the community. the animals that they treat, are very fortunate to be in their care. I cannot speak highly enough of them...the best veterinary practice l have had the pleasure of dealing with.Keep up the excellent work folks, if your patients could speak, l reckon they would all call you...the A-Team".Brian Walker
