We just entered to the shop and asked for a coffee with my friend. The lady straight away told us that the shop was already closed. It was only 2pm and the website shows that it’s open until 3pm. I don’t know what was the reason behind this racist act.Response: I had asked for the coffee way before 2:30pm, I have a witness and can collect footage If you wish to view accurate timing. We felt extremely uncomfortable by the attitude of the waitress. I had a scroll through the reviews and past customers would also agree. I wonder if you would be this confident in court. I did not call you a racist your actions were to make it clear.

Nice coffee shop plenty of well ventilated internal and outdoor undercover seating all perfectly clean.Gorgeous looking selection of house made pastries and sandwiches.Service was a bit slow on my visit and the bacon and egg roll wasn’t terrific as bread roll was very tough which was sad given the word “bakery” in their name

This café obviously doesn’t care its reputation. Very unkind and abrupt. I’ve tried this café as it was nearby and was having a good deal on Groupon, but definitely not going back.

Its a nice cosy bakery/cafe and they pride themselves on bringing a real French touch to their freshly baked goods.Their sourdough bread is super soft inside but crusty on outside. I could eat the loaf on one seating. Recently we had their open bread-tartine and also French Madame Croque. Just delicious. We are big fans of their almond croissant too.Overall perfect for your quick weeday breakie/lunch and weekend bread/pastries pick up. Recommend!

French gastronomy and French attitude.Lovely coffee, croissant and tart. But don't go expecting friendly service. It is not really the French way.I'd happily come back.

What a delight to have discovered this little gem! An unassuming place on busy Darling street yet all the baked goods are delectable & will transport you to France. The pastries are outstanding with buttery, flakey layers whether you choose the plain, chocolate, raisin or almond croissants. The latter had a delicious crunchy topping & gooey praline interior. The coffees are also good & the tarts are again outstanding. It's a true artisan baker at work here & its reflected in the most perfect tart shells & classic, mouth watering fillings. Have to come back to try their bread & danishes. A must visit for all the delicious bakery goodies!

Love the food and coffee. It's a beautiful bakery where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a coffee and the best croissants in Sydney.
