Hired a 3.5T excavator, rock breaker, and 2T tip truck, for 2 days.Advice a head was misleading in terms of capacity of truck. 2T for me meant about 1T capacity with ordinary licence since the truck weighed close to 3T and my ordinary licence was limited to 4T.The excavator was delivered a little early. They phoned us when it was already on its way. Unfortunately we were already on our way to pick up the truck. We advised them of our status but they had left it and departed by the time we returned home. The excavator was not usable initially, as the extremely heavy rock breaker was delivered between excavator and work area in the reverse orientation, that allows standard pickup. It was my first use so I called for help. The help came relatively quickly (est 1hr) and was very good. He explained how to fit the rock breaker, although the reverse orientation also tricked him for about 20 minutes. He had to reverse the rock breaker before he could pick it up.Then I was able to use the rock breaker relatively easily for the 1st day but on the second day changed it for a bucket" and then after that could not refit the rock breaker's hydraulic hoses. Phoned the same expert who had previously advised me to do just that. Checked that I had done as advised but could not attach the hoses. He then advised that the following morning was the earliest he could turn up. That would have been after my hire period ended. I had already asked for a third day. Branch then phoned me and told me there would be a charge for the expert to turn up the second time. I advised him that I would not be continuing with the rental. He told me to contact them on the following morning and advise them to pick up the excavator and hammer which I did. The "pickup" Coates guy was able to fit the hydraulic hoses by releasing the one I had managed to attach
