I am an op shop junkie. My favourite destination is Pennant Hills Vinnies. The BEST layout, pricing, staff and volunteers. And easy parking. The store is always fresh and brilliantly presented.

Nice little op shop.A fair few menswear racks (more than you'd normally see). A collection of fancy crockery by the residents. Loads of bric a brac and two bookshelves of books. A small section of children's books and toys.

This is a lovely, well maintained, uncluttered shop with a good range of items (both in quality and price) to browse. I'm always on the lookout for durable, interesting recycled clothing and am a regular Vinnies shopper. The Pennant Hills store is one of the goodies and continues to satisfy with many stylish pieces at a fair price....and then...bliss..occasionally there is that fabulous item that is my find of the year!! Apart from enjoying my rewards, I'm happy knowing that the dollars I spend will be circled back to others needing support. Staffed by volunteers mostly? Amazing!

One of the smaller Vinnies stores. You can enter from the back where the car park is, the other end to the Lifeline store, its rival. The range of things is smaller - books, DVDs, clothes and soft toys, plus board games or puzzles - but the condition seems to be pretty good for an op shop. The price is fair, no great bargains, though not bad either. Worth a brief look.

I LOVE this Vinnies! They have the best clothing items and welcoming volunteers in the area. They know the worth of their items and treat everything with great care.

Upon entering the store I began by browsing the 'winter' rack and came across various jumpers and coats. The items were priced from $80 and above with the words 'woolen' or 'real fur' written on the labels. I looked across to the elderly woman next to me and was surprised not to see her fall into cardiac arrest at the sight of these 30 year old 100% lint jumpers and hanging road kill.Once I regained my bearings and confirmed that I was in fact in Pennant Hills Vinnies and not a Surry Hills Boutique I continued to browse. I then came across a white t-shirt and knew this had to be a joke as it was priced at $30! I saw this exact same shirt at Kmart for $5!I understand that this is a charity organisation and the staff are volunteers. However, if they are wanting to give back to the community and help people they need to understand that these prices are NOT appealing to the socioeconomic status of the surrounding community. I am lucky enough to have a full time job and can afford to buy clothing from a range of stores, but what about the people who NEED Vinnies and rely on the appropriate pricing of second hand clothing.I have only mentioned a few pricing concerns though there were many more. I strongly suggest St Vincent De Paul review the store, their ability to price and willingness to give back to the community.

One of my favourite op shops in Sydney! This shop has a fantastic range of branded and vintage clothing in great condition and at very reasonable prices. Great bric-a-brac and kids things available too. There's always a huge range to choose from, and I never leave empty handed! The staff are always helpful and friendly.

Edit: Original posted 12/10/20.I haven't been in as a buyer but over the past several months I've made a few drop offs and have met at least 3 different people that work there. On one of the days I visted there was a lovely lady who was positively peachy and made it a very pleasant experience. On my last visit the lady rostered on was let down by support staff which meant that the charity bins were overflowing - even so she was quite pleasant. I hope that the rest of her day improved. :)

I’m sitting here in the gorgeous DKNY jacket that I bought from Vinnies Pennant Hills. It is perfect for the sudden turn of weather, and I bought it for a great price. Seems every time I’m there I find a treasure that needs a good home. This store appeals because the displays change, there is a good turnover of stock, there is plenty of parking and the staff are helpful.Plus I love to donate my unwanted clothes and bric a brac to a good cause. There are things I used to love ... but it’s time to let somebody else to love them now!
