Goodstart Early Learning Sunbury - Barkly Street

A great little centre with a lovely family feel. My son bonded with his educator on the first day they met. They sat down on the ground together and started chatting like they'd known each other forever. He's been happy there since his first day and, having come to know the wonderful team there, I can happily say he's in capable and caring hands.

Five stars is not enough.I cannot speak highly enough about how this centre has supported not just my son but my whole family.They care above and beyond what I thought anyone else could outside my immediate family. I feel like I am dropping him off to a house full of loving aunties and second mums not just a childcare.They went above and beyond to support his transition into starting care for the first time and provided me with support when I also found the transition difficult.The staff want to know about my son as an individual and they listen to us and work with us to come up with ideas on how to support his development and wellbeing.I keep telling the staff that “I feel so lucky” that we have such supportive people around him at Goodstart Barkly St. I’m glad I finally have the opportunity to share it.Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I cannot thank the team at Goodstart Barkly Street enough for taking such good care of my little one. They truly do feel like family when we have none nearby! My son comes home happy and excited to tell me about his day. I love receiving updates on Storypark and feel good knowing my son is in a safe, secure and caring environment while I'm at work. Staff truly go above and beyond to make the children and families in their care feel welcome and loved.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found this center. After a disaster trial at a bigger/newer center in Sunbury I thought my son would never settle into childcare. But 3 months in at Goodstart on Barkly street, he absolutely loves his time there. ALL the staff are wonderful and I am so comforted in leaving my son in their care. He is always so happy and content when I pick him up and for the remainder of the evening. Shellie has an eye for detail, even down to the 'mood lighting' to create a calming space for the children. The toddler room is continuously re-arranged so that the children remain stimulated and explore different play areas. So very pleased, I almost want to keep this a secret.

My son has been at Goodstart Barkly street since before he was 6 months old, started in the nursery room and is now on his last year before going to school! Best centre hands down, all the educators have pretty much been the same the whole time and are so lovely and responsible when it comes to those children. The whole centre just has such incredible vibes and I could not recommend it enough. My son loves every single educator and always feels comfortable going and that is a huge bonus for me!

My daughter has recently started at this center and she's loving it. She getting amazing care and has settled in fantastically.It's like a little family, the whole atmosphere is calm and comfortable for our kiddies.I get updates and photos on what she's been doing . It's great!!

So impressed and happy we found this daycare for our 16 month old. With no family nearby, it has been a godsend to have the flexibility, warmth and support this daycare has shown to us so far. My son is still settling in but I feel confident when I drop him off, he is in good hands. The daycare itself is small, cosy and welcoming. Like a home away from home and just what we had been looking for in a daycare centre.Thanks for the great work you do, taking care of our little ones and keeping us informed!

We are so happy that we chose Goodstart Barkley St, cannot imagine going anywhere else. Our daughter absolutely loves it here. She started going when she was 8months old and now she is 2.5yrs. She loves her educators and talks about them at home. She has learnt so many skills both social and educational. Being an only child at home it's a great opportunity for our daughter to interact with other children.The centre director Shellie is sensational, on top of everything, always available to talk to if you need and super friendly.The whole feel of the place is friendly and you are made to feel like part of the family.Would highly recommend this centre to anyone!

My son attended this childcare only for a short time however we are very sad to go and very much felt instantly at peace with thus centre. All the educators, centre director and assistant director are amazing and professional and you can tell they're genuinely interested in the children's well beings.I would come back in a heartbeat knowing my son was well looked after and that they run a good ship!Thanks for everything ladies!

We have found the staff at GOODSTART to be utterly devoted to the children. Our almost 2 year old grandson has been going there for some time now and they are always providing us with updates about his personal progress and experiences as well as educating us generally on developmental milestones.Not only that, they have a warm and friendly and personable approach and give us regular feedback about Joey. It's a very homely centre and he's developed lovely relationships with staff. Very grateful to the team here. Carmel
