Viet Hoa Fish Market

İ was a regular customer for many years up until today. İ vowed never to go back. Yesterday the lady worker dropped a fish in front of me and picked it up and put it on display again. Shop camera footage will prove this. İf this wasn't enough, they have sold me so called fresh Australian prawns that are moldy and re-frozen. My attempt to even have the produce exchanged was declined. Peng the manager pulled himself out of the business and customer relationship saying he wasn't the owner. The face of business enterprise has turned into a selfish situation. İ am taking this to the Strathfield council health department. Also the shop has many names( check out the photos). Looks like a dodgy set up.İ hope they change their attitude.

Best sea food shop.Everything are very fresh and the price also reasonable. Little more than Sydney Markets, still worth paying.As other reviewers said about the staff's behaviour, yes, few staff are rude. That's why given 4 star.Just opp to Flemington train station. There is a coffee shop near by. So I will get a coffee when the queue is big.

Fresh seafood at a decent price. Can be very busy, especially around Chinese New year and other festivals!

Fresh fish, but it deserves one star because of its seemingly dodgy service. Followings are my true experiences:1. One time they charged me for some fish from some other customer. I had to drive back from home to get refund.2. Three times they charged me some fish at a much higher price. I caught them twice on spot and the other time I had to drive back from home to get refund again.3. Today I bought 4 fish of the same kind (amongst many other seafoods), but when I got home I found 3 fish only. I cannot be bothered to drive back to get refund. Hence the reason for this review.Why did I keep going back to this store? Because the fish is fresh, but everyone please watch out the 'innocent' mistakes from the staff. The mistakes are always in their favour as I found out.

This is one of the best places to buy fresh fish in Sydney. I've been coming here for 20 years, from wherever I live in Sydney, because I've never, ever, been sold a fish that wasn't high quality and absolutely fresh. Prices are also good and the place is spotless, without the tell-tale odour of bleach you smell elsewhere.

Bought a live barramundi, the place is clean and efficient, had what i needed. Also the tiger prawns were super fresh and sweet tasting.

I usually buy pompret and tiger prawn. Quality is always very good.
