I cried a lot and was able to chat with a guide in the thoughtful gift shop and catch my breath. Virginia was so helpful with our conversation about indigenous people and finally giving space to hear their stories too. I am from Minnesota where we have many different tribes and a history of systemic racism. George Floyd being ONE example of human rights violations in my city.I thought the audio tour was well done and explored the penal history, women's home story and the native people's perspective. I liked how the audio guide led you from room to room. It did glitch a little bit over all was helpful.

A great experience well worth the small entrance fee. An audio guide directs you throughout your visit and is very informative. It gives a real taste of life at the early stages of colonisation.

We had visited years ago but this new format makes the tour very interesting and enjoyable. A few times my head set restarted on its own accord which was only a minor issue really.Really to be recommended for young or old.
