Went in for the first time. Love the ambience although it was a little compressed. They served one of the best Nepalese Thali and I really enjoyed. I requested for a hot Chai and the chef took a great effort to make one for me although it was not in their menu. Best service and great authentic Sherpa cuisine. Thali and goat choila were superb.

We went to have lunch there, it was a bit cold that day so we chose to sit inside.The waiter is really helpful with the menu and explain the options etc.This is my first time eating Nepalese foods and I'm not sure if the taste is authentic or not. But to me the spice is not strong enough.Anyway I went to the toilet and the toilet is so messy and dirty and I can actually smell the toilet from the eating area which is not too comfortable to sit and relax enjoying the foods.

The rice and the noodle soup was exquisite.The dessert was a bit sweet for us.Overall, it was a enjoyable dinner for us to experience different cuisine.Would come recommend to friends, and come back to try other dishes.

Chulesi Nepalese ResturantThe staff training needs improvement someone new shouldn't be on their own.The first thing a person is taught is to find out what they are sold out of at the start of the day to reduce wait time and constantly go back to the table....(I have no idear how a place can run out of every type of soft drink)A place that only serves rice,dumplings or noodles run out of noodles?..I was also frustrated with time it seemed odd it took more than 1 hour to make fried rice!Plus 1,5 hours to make dumplings!After waiting this time waited another 30 min and still hadn't received dessert so asked to find out that they hadn't even started.

This place is the most authentic Nepalese restaurant in town. I lived in Kathmandu for a while, and Chulesi matches the very best places there. It's a bright and colourful place with good service. The momos are absolutely delicious as is the traditional thali plate. If you decide to have both, you will need to bring your appetite (or ask for a takeaway container) - the portions are generous!

Absolutely Delicious food.If you are wanting to have something simple Nepalese food, then this might be your stop. The chef have got some magic which reflects in the food, the taste and the simplicity of the food speaks itself. The staff are friendly. Enough car park available. One small thing I found is the quality of “rice” on a “non-veg thali”, generally I never order anything extra when i order “thali” but this time i had to order another rice because of the quantity was very less, but overall everything was great.

We decided to had late lunch at Chulesi today so we directly jumped on main meals. We ordered thali set and bhutan set. It was flavourful, authentic and delicious. The value was great. Totally worth the price. Highly recommended.

Perfect destination for Momo-lovers. Varieties of Momos served with their magic sauce. We tried their panipuri and chicken chowmin, which is so yummy and you can get the taste of authentic Nepalese cuisine. Last but not the least is their Thali, which comes with dal, ghee, saag, veggies and goat curry. The goat curry was just finger licking. The prices are so reasonable and the staff are friendly.
