Indian Spice is located at 5 Mosley Square, opposite the tram terminus. This small tenancy provides quality Indian food and bats well above its weight in terms of food, service and cleanliness. I would recommend a combination of the chicken tikka, chicken madras, lamb Rogan Josh, Beef Korma, roti and rice. A bottle of the Nepenthe Pinot Gris is a great compliment to the food.

This was our first visit to this famed Indian joint. Loved the non-veg platter served sizzling on a hot plate!The mains of goat curry and balti chicken were equally impressive to go with rice and garlic naan.Topped it with a splendid mango kulfi!Amazing location makes it a perfect place for a weekend get together with family and friends.

Food was really good. We had Volcanic hot Chicken Vindaloo and hot lamb madras. If you like hot spicy food, this had the perfect amount of heat. Your lips and tongue get that tingle. Garlic, cheese and chilli Naan was FRICKIN awesome. Didn't wait long for meals, service was quick and friendly.

We used to order from Indian Spice a few years ago, before the fire. Back then it was amazing - right up there with the best Indian food we have eaten. Gave it a shot over the long weekend, and boy, have things changed. I ordered a lamb Madras, and my wife ordered a prawn Malabari, both favorite's of ours. To start with, they both looked identical, but it didn't stop there. They both TASTED identical too! I'd say just the same base gravy with different proteins. The prawns were very small, tough and obviously frozen (even tasted freezer burnt). There were no curry leaves, cardamon pods, mustard seeds... any aromatics at all in either curry. They were also both extremely salty. Drinks were expensive too - $15 for a base vodka and raspberry. Avoid if you want authentic Indian.

Best Indian I've had in a long time and reasonably priced.Good amounts of meat and not too much sauce as I've found with othersI generally avoid lamb at Indian restaurants as it's generally not been the best quality, however no issues here.Definitely recommend and will go again

Based on taste alone, the food was quite good. It allowed us to gain access to a range of curry selections. The flavours tasted good - a 7/10 for most curries. The garlic naan was good - 8/10. The dessert was alright. Overall not a bad place and in a very convenient location in Mosely Square.

The food was delicious and the portions generous. Service was very fast. Great menu selection, including around a dozen vegetarian options. You can choose mild, medium or hot for spice. Staff were knowledgeable and polite. The restaurant is pleasant and there is outside dining. Good value for money. Great location near the beach and the Stamford Grand Hotel.

The butter chicken curry I had here was unreal! So tasted! Everything I wanted from an Indian dish.The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick.Nice Indian atmosphere about the place with some Indian music gently in the background. I would come back here anytime I felt like having Indian food!Plus it’s right next to the beach for a walk after to let the food go down.
