Bellbird Hill is set on a ridge overlooking magnificent hill and valley views. One could easily just relax on the veranda for 2 days and simply enjoy the scenery!The accommodation was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Our hosts Peter and Les treated us to a 5 star breakfast and offered useful advice about touring the local area. It was great to get to know some of their story.Thank you for a wonderful stay and we aim to book in again soon.

I highly recommend BellbirdHill B&B to anybody who is looking for a luxurious stay in a perfectly maintained bed and breakfast on the countryside. Les and Pete welcome you in their home as friends, willing to do anything to ensure you have a perfect stay. The room was, in just one word, just perfect. You will never get enough of the view that is just outside your window. The common guest area is designed to relax. Although I disappointed Les with not ordering a hot breakfast, their dinner was perfect. Les and Pete a great host, always in for a chat when you want to.When coming to Wingham, don’t forget to grab a lunch at the café food on the bent. Their garden is an oasis of tranquility

This is one of the best Bed & Breakfast we have stayed in. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The generous sized ensuite made the stay very enjoyable. The hosts Les & Pete have great local knowledge and were attentive to all our needs. Sitting under their beautiful pergola, in the peaceful surroundings whilst enjoying our deliciously cooked breakfast and having the King parrots look on, was one of the many highlights of our stay. Thank you to Pete and Les for making our stay such a fabulous experience, We are already planning our next visit at BellbirdHill.

We booked to stay 3 nights over Easter holidays. We were looking for a dog friendly, relaxing getaway with countryside views. Bellbirdhill is exactly what we were searching for, and more. Peter and les went above and beyond... Like a home away from home. Breakfast was delicious, and we had a lovely 'community' Easter BBQ on the terrace with views down the valley, with other guests. Peter and les also were knowledgeable about the local area and were very helpful in planning our day trips (although we quite happily could've stayed all day with those views!!). Would highly recommend. Thanks Peter and Les!

5 star in every way. Beautiful place, outlook, breakfast. Lovely warm hosts. Lovely fireplace and fully fenced front paddock at the front for the pooch to have a run. Just lovely.

If you would like an escape to the country go no further than BellbirdHill B& B.The owners and your hosts Lesley and Peter Trood go out of their way to give you a memorable experience.Since our last visit Peter further developed his custom B&B by building a fabulous outside brick pizza oven.We had a wonderful time creating our pizzas and watching them cook in the brick oven.The gazebo area is so relaxing. You can sit and enjoy the breathtaking view over the river valley. What a setting for a very tasty lunch.In the evening we again stoked the oven and roasted a big piece of rump. The meat developed a wonderful smokey flavour. It was so tender and delicious and went great with the roast vegetables and home baked whole grain bread.My husband and I decided on the nautical themed suite for our nights sleep. The room had ducted air conditioning and electric blankets. Such a pretty suite with a gorgeous quilted bed cover which was made by Lesley. The room was beautifully appointed and had a very comfy bed. What is very special is the absolute silence so if you need a good nights sleep this is the place.I rose early and enjoyed the colourful sunrise over the valley. Don't forget to bring your camera as there are lots of photo opportunities.After having a great breakfast which was included we sadly said goodbye until next time.

Excellent stay in an excellent b&b! Stayed at bellbird hill to break up our recent trip from Sydney to the nor the coast, although a 30min detour from the motorway, the location is so relaxing and picturesque - it’s well worth the detour, so much so that we’ll stay for longer next time. Rooms were spacious enough for 2 adults, travel pram and our doggo, and the guest facilities were second to none. In fact I would return for the breakfast prepared by the hosts alone! Peter and his wife were amazing and welcoming... we’ll be back soon!
