Wow! What a treat! Above and way beyond expectations. Where do I start? The era vibe is so great. The private Garden soaked with asunshine was perfect for breakfast and a pre dinner drink. Short walk to the pub for dinner.Breakfast supplies were super generous! But my favourite, the heated floors. I was expecting to be a bit chilly in a historic stone cottage. But not at all! Just loved this stay! Definitely should be staying more than one night.

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here...and I will keep staying here. I'd write more but I'm too relaxed.

Stayed at Emma Tiver Heritage Cottage. Myself and partner.Very well presented and organised.Lots of information and everything you could want. None of that feeling like your staying in an op shop.Great vibe. A real experience. Also my first time to Burra. Lovely place and people. Stayed the Friday and Saturday night.

Recently stayed for the June long-weekend and it was amazing. The cottage was clean and well presented. Plenty of reading material about the local district for the cold nights in front of the open wood fire. Old world rustic charm, with every detail attended to, down to the old style toast holder and plates displayed on the walls reminding me of my nanas house in Spalding. Ample breakfast provisions with the vegetarian breakfast, with lots of different choices, different breakfast on every day. Wonderfully soft bath robes and even a heated slate floor in the bathroom, great shower head and hot water. Cosy and warm bed, plenty of blankets available for the cold June nights, electric blanket was sufficient though. Undercover parking provided. We did not have children with us but noticed games and toys available if we did. The Statton family have done exceptionally well in providing 5 star accommodation for the Heritage town of Burra.

Took us back in time. Immaculate rooms. Almost all facilities. Detached wet area was bit of a turn-off. Overall good experience.

The most gorgeous little old cottage, so cozy and welcoming, even a fridge full of bacon, tomato, eggs, milk and juice, plus cereals and bread welcomed us. Sweet little garden out the back and comfortable modern outdoor bathroom, keeping it situated as it were back in the day, yet with the modern comforts of underfloor heating! The colored rooms are decorated so quaintly, our bed was incredibly comfortable. We absolutely loved it here!
