i could not recommend this place more. after seeing the price of a manicure and shellac i was a bit sceptical as i never usually pay more than $70 for my nails but it was 110% worth the price. my nails have never looked better or felt better before. after having acrylic nails my natural nail was destroyed. the lovely and talented staff at kova completely repaired my nails and my cuticles (that were completely destroyed) and made them look better than ever. this place is 100% worth paying that extra bit to know that you are getting the best treatment that will last. not to mention how lovely and welcoming the staff are!! 10000% recommend and i will be coming back!!

Very happy with my nails and the lovely service. My artist was Rita, who doesnt speak much English but it didn’t matter as she’s skilled and was a very good nail artist. Highly recommend and will be back!

I paid $70 for drilling my nails off!I needed to remove my semi-permanent nail polish only and agreed to do a manicure as well, I was surprised the lady was using just an electric drill for everything. I though should be fine. After she finish, I was feeling my nails were very thin and sore. I didn't say anything and walked away...Still, two weeks after, my nails are sore, they feel like paper nails, majority of them have broke from the root of the nail.Never again. The service was good, but the method they used was very cruel. Sorry!

While this nail salon prides itself on its hygiene standards, it has unfortunately given me nail infections on my recent appointment. I’m extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend coming here. I have been coming to this salon for several years but unfortunately the quality has significantly declined recently - the nail technicians that served me previously have all left the salon now. Unless you want a nail infection, I suggest you go elsewhere.

After so many years in Australia and going from one terrible nail salon to another I finally found a place that knows the definition of a proper manicure and pedicure. I will never have to experience bad quality job again because I found this salon! It is great to see a place where people understand that a proper pedicure take 1.5-2 hours and cannot be done in 30 minutes. They know that simply putting nail polish on nails is not called manicure!Amazing quality job, fantastic customer service, I’m in love with this place. Not only the result but the whole experience was enjoyable. I loved friends show on the screen, thoughtfulness behind putting subtitles on because you can’t always hear what’s said in a nosy environment, comfortable chair, friendly staff, beautifully smelling creams and of course the tasty chocolate. The only tiny improvement I would suggest would be replacing paper cups with some nice cute mugs. Overall, certainly the best nail salon in Sydney (based on visiting over 100 other salons).

Not happy with the service at all.E file tool was way too harsh, burnt nails. The vibrations felt on the nail plate were very painful.Lamp did not cure nails properly and I had to go to another salon after to get another top coat. People crammed in like sardines in the salon.

This was my first time coming to kova nails and my experience was exceptional, my artist was Kseniia, she did an amazing job, I've seriously never had such a perfect pedicure in my life. Although priced might seem steep for some I prefer to pay that little extra to get an amazing job not only do they take their time on you're treatment the paint job is immaculate I am quitefussy when it comes to polish and the way my toes are done and I cannot fault one ounce of it finally I can walk out 110% happy and not have to say or ask for something to be done correctly. I will definitely be returning and also the salon itself is relaxing and you don't have that feeling like the artists are talking about you!!! thank you so much ❤️

I've come here multiple times, and at some sessions got my nails done by Dasha (loved her attitude and her work was perfect always). I also once volunteered to do a 'model needed' session by the owner, Lisa. I agree with others on here that note the service is overpriced and not always perfect depending on who does your nails. The receptionist has a weird attitude when requesting a specific person - I usually wanted Dasha to do my sets as she's so kind and skilled! She'd look at me blankly and say 'they're all the same skill level, that's why the price is the same'. Lol. Anyone who's gotten any service done can tell you that's not true, ever. On top of this, I found Lisa extremely rude during the model needed session - which ended up taking 6 hours! There was no communication as to how long they'd take, what they'd do but when volunteering (solely out of kindness here) they had implied that I'd know on the day. The demeanour during the session was unbelievable - didn't even ask my name, kept shaking my hand to get me to move in different positions, constantly speaking to each other in russian/ukrainian, and all accompanied by an ugly, commanding tone when speaking to me. In the end my nails were about 3mm thick and looked like the ugliest press ons I've ever seen. It costs nothing to be nice, and it certainly pays extra to be kind on top of being skilled. Don't recommend and I now avoid this place like the plague!

I visited this place as my normal tech was on maternity leave and I am a little disappointed with the overall experience and service.I was due to have Biab in my hands and an efile pedicure with colour.Their prices were outrageous, getting Biab with French is apparently considered a “complex design” and cost me $125 all up. Additionally I had an efile pedicure and was expecting a colour on top only to be told that the tech doesn’t have time to add the colour. That also cost me $125 it was $40 just to remove colour from my toes which was basically non existent and probably took the tech less than five minutes to remove all up.There was a language barrier with the techs and it was really hard to communicate and express what I actually wanted.Although the people were friendly, it just was not a nice experience and waking out of there paying $250 and only having half the service I wanted was a huge disappointment. I think places like this take obvious advantage of people and I highly recommend reviewing your prices as they are just not realistic and definitely not worth it.

I had very high hopes for this salon but overall my experience wasn't great.I booked in for an e-file manicure. The drill used blistered my finger and made at least 4 of my nail beds bleed and was still bleeding when I got home and is quite sore the next day. The BIAB is extremely thick, uneven and the UV light used was so painful. I've had BIAB before at another salon and never experienced burning like this. I showed the tech a picture from their instagram for colour reference and the colour I ended up with was very pink/peach when I wanted a sheer natural nude. The price point is extremely high for what you get $125 for a manicure with plain colour no extras is very steep and honestly not worth it. I booked online, paid a $55 deposit and got an email receipt to pay another $55 at location. At the end of the service they charged me $70 with no explanation. The language barrier was very difficult to navigate as well so didn't feel like questioning the extra cost.
