I am a person who rarely leave review on google, but for this law firm, it is definitely worth of my time to leave a review.I only found them through google and I was a bit hesitated to contact them, as I am situated at Sydney and they are at Perth, and yet it turned out to be the best thing I have done in my journey of applying for my partner visa. Although we only spoke to Hamish on the phone for less than 15 minutes, his clear and honest response provided us the clarity that we needed at that time. Moreover, because our situation also involved the area of criminal law, Hamish is also a criminal lawyer and his expertise definitely reassured us in terms of what to do next.Hamish doesn't use jargon and is very honest and generous. He wouldn't trick you to use his service and if your concern can be easily solved by yourself, he would tell you and let you know what to do. He doesn't like some law firm or immigration agent service that would scare you to use their service.I am a social worker and journalist myself, so I deeply appreciate that there are still legal practitioners who are still willing to do pro bono services, especially in the current political climate. Hamish is one of the best Lawyers I have ever dealt with.We went through Hamish to try and get my brother into Australia for a visitor visa (he is classed to have a significant criminal record, due to serving a prison sentence longer than 12 months in the Uk)From the initial meeting with Hamish, he was upfront and direct with the possible outcome of the case.
