Disgraceful company, who's drivers think it is ok to park outside people's apartment blocks in the middle of the night with their truck engine continually running. Rude and inconsiderate drivers

A great company, it really feels like they put a lot of time and effort into their deliveries. My experience with them was wonderful, they were polite and considerate which made me feel that I spent my money well. Keep up the good work guys!!

We were woken from an early evening sleep by the driver with a roaring motor making a delivery to the new Wollworths Metro store in Rosebery. The driver was using foul language when we asked him to turn the motor off. He was also parked on the wrong side of the road, facing the oncoming traffic. Why did he not use the delivery dock provided? The hour was almost 11pm on Monday

I was just almost killed by one of your trucks that deliberately ran a group of cyclists off the road. 7:54am on the road to Wiseman's Ferry.

I worked for Micway though 1800drivers doing cold and frozen good deliveries to Woolworths Out of Americans, as a experienced driver driving a truck in metro Sydney city it is highly stressful and can be frustrating at the best of times, high volumes of traffic congestion cause delays in delivery times. Management weren’t to bad but there seemed to be a lot of stress, rushing and miscommunication which was directed towards drivers which lead to silly mistakes, damage to vehicles, loading docks, public property etc. drivers who are stressed and under heavy pressure from management are much more at risk at making mistakes, some of the Woolworths stores had staff that were fantastic to deal with although just as many had staff who were rude, arrogant and made life pretty hard for drivers, like a lot of transport company’s Micway management need to sit down with drivers and simply communicate to become aware of all these factors and situations. I was given the opportunity to become Fulltime employee which I would have done except after reading though there company’s EBA I noticed a few things that I didn’t agree with. They payroll is a completely different company, which seemed to deprive employee of certain benefits and entitlements, although they did offer a ‘let’s just say fair’ above award wage all overtime was only paid at base hourly rate, after talking to a couple other drive I learned that some were paid overtime at base rate But yet others were apparently paid at reward hourly rate which also differentiated. That to me isn’t really fair. they offer good hours and do comply with NHVA standards and driver hours also I believe should take into consideration that a lot of employee after working long hours still need to travel home safely. Main locations of employment are Arndell Park & Prospect for me to drive from Windsor area to Prospect was approx 45mins drive/ 30mins incurring a twice daily toll fee and a fuel cost of approx $15-$20 per day depending on fuel price. add that up over 5-6day week that’s 1.5hrs of personal time travelling to and from Work ranging from anywhere from 6hrs to 12hrs unpaid travel time to and from work keeping in mind that after 10hrs work we’re now into double time and driving heavily fatigued on the roads with high volume traffic conditions, 2 tolls per day if roll road used + fuel costs for in this case anywhere from $75-$120 per week. Yet they only pay overtime at base pay rate with no fuel or travel allowance included. why should I have to we’re the full costs of all that and volunteer/donate my time just to go to and from work every shift. That’s a lot of money and time lost every week I’m in no way compensated for.. like I said the hrly rate was fair as it has to be cos of EBA + plus all the stress’s that go with the job driving, continuously high cost in living all of which never seems to be adjusted accordingly or updated. Might have a lot to do with why Micway are continuously seeking drivers to fill driving rolls within the company and have a high turnover of drivers. When I informed management that I wouldn’t be take the Fulltime opportunity offered the response was quiet negative and was pretty much told if I didn’t like if then seek employment elsewhere which I kinda expected, so I did. Micway are a decent company but I think management need to sit down and look a profits over the long term not just for tomorrow or the year and look further into costs to continuously training New inexperienced drivers who cause more damage cost and diminish and tarnish there company’s reputation. I think think they’ll find that if they look after there employee’s & drivers and actually focus more time to sit down and listen they’d build a much better relationship with employees who would also feel a lot more valued and appreciated within the company, the company would save a lot more money on training, damage cost and by rewarding higher hrly Reward pay rate, compensation of workers travel costs and maintain a good solid reputation in food transport and also keep the General public happy.

My husband and I were walking through Newport in Sydney today when one of your trucks came speeding through on a wet road well above the 50kph speed limit. He was going so fast that when he got to the 60kph just some 200m the shops he was driving up the rear end of the car in front. Unacceptable in a residential area

Looks like you need to reassess your drivers & your customer service in general. I too had a bad experience in Rosebery on Monday night.

The driver with number plate TB99XQ almost drove my partner and I off Picton road yesterday. When we eventually drove past him, I took his photo and then a couple of minutes later he almost did the same thing to someone else on Hume Highway.

The company deserves a no star.Just by reading the comments, management is to blame not the drivers. There are people that work real hard but never get the recognition or paid enough.Off the record, the top are a bunch of racists and need to be reviewed and replaced but that's a difficult one because they own the company.
