Jon was great, I could tell after the first appointment he knew what my struggles were, and he designed a program to get me moving freely again. Each session I had a greater range of movement, which I hadn’t experienced for years. Jon talked me through why previous injuries had effect my body in different ways, and after completing the course was able to get back to playing sports which was my goal. Very knowledgeable.

After years of injuries and countless visits to various physio clinics I was recommended by a friend to visit Jon. Right from the very first session, Jon's attention to detail was excellent. He understood the types of injuries I've had in the past and why they keep repeating. Following the sessions, I'm now pain free and enjoying my exercise again.

I had Jon work on two frozen shoulders for 12 months. His knowledge on the body is amazing and explained and worked through how everything is connected from toes to head in that order. I have gained snippets from many different sources but Jon is a one stop shop on subject of body movement and the effects when one part is not right.

Jon has an intricate understanding of anatomy, and he applies a very detailed and in depth approach to tackling chronic pain. After 6 sessions, I have gained an awareness of what movements or postures cause my particular issues, and have the tools to manage and train more correct movements to alleviate many of those pains. As someone who has tried many avenues over the years to help, I can highly recommend his program to assist with recovery and rehabilitation.

For years and years I would get injured playing football, and I didn’t know why. Jon highlighted that my glutes weren’t activated properly and therefore my other muscles were over compensating and then pulling/straining. Jon gave me some practical and simple exercises to activate my glutes before exercise which I now use religiously, and touch wood I’ve been injury free every since.

Jon has been working with me since late 2020. He has proven to be always thoroughly prepared for each of my sessions but at the same time easily able to vary/adapt the session depending on how I am feeling/dealing with my issues at the time. I loved all my sessions with Jon. I initially did the blue print package to deal with some pain and then came back for PE sessions as well.Jon tailored the exercices each time to suit my specific areas of pain and my goals. After a few sessions I felt a lot of improvement and felt empowered to know what to do in the future if pain was to reoccur.On top of that Jon was always available to answer questions or reexplain an exercise if I had questions.I recommend to anyone with pain (feet, back, knee, hip,...) to come try Map movement if like me physio sessions or orthopaedic soles didn’t help in the past.

Jon approach to training is very unique, he has helped me recover from spine surgery in my younger years to being able to perform at the top of my game.
