I don't normally do reviews on a Company's products and Services unless they are exceptionally good or horrifically bad.As a repeat customer of Stormy I am particularly disappointed with their service. My initial purchase of their domestic life jacket was a good experience with the jacket lasting well with heavy use for many years. Zip failed eventually with stitching not long after but considering its use and designed purpose this was expected.Naturally I went back to them when my wife's [110cm chest and 170cm height] cheaper brand wore out. I took her sizing from the old jacket and Stormy Seas sizing chart allowing I thought for the use of warm underclothes when on the seas.The Large Jacket I purchased was HUGE fitting MY 2xl 6ft 2 frame easily with me wearing heavy undergarments. Clearly a mistake had been made and I didn't want to accept full responsibility especially in light of the freight and costs.The only option Stormy offered me was a repair to this brand new Pink $600 Jacket if I paid in full for return and 2 lots of freight. I am unsure what percentage of their customers are the big commercial Maritime Companies and what percentage are little domestic consumers like myself but clearly paltry private end users are of no consequence to their Customer Service Department and or quality control.Think carefully about purchasing their products if you are expecting professional service for an expensive Life Jacket.Please read my further detailed reviews on Maritime NZ, Australia Fishing Forums and Google reviews.
