Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat
Lovely spot to camp for a few days, new owners and they are very keen to make one's stay as good as possible. Facilities are basic but clean. The owners feed the wild birds every day, which is a wonderful experience.

We were part of a larger group of 10+ vans/campers who stayed for a week. The new managers Adam & Sarah Louise were extremely accommodating with our requests also providing entertainment around the campfire & a great open air movie night as well as bird feeding where you are encouraged to hand feed King Parrots, Lorikeets, Galahs & Cockatoos. The birds are so plentiful! There is a pool on site however the weather was a little cold in June for our group. The park is an easy walking distance to most of the National Park Gorge walks for the adventurous. Great for average + levels of fitness. A laid back atmosphere is also apparent if you just want to relax. Ammenities are clean & adequate with lots of self contained cabins available. I would thoughly recommend a stay at Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat, thanks Adam & Sarah Louise!

Lovely accommodating owners. We were allowed to check in early as our cabin was ready. Cabins well equipped except for a few minor things. A scotchbrite would be great in the kitchen as well as the provided detergent, wipe + teatowel. The TV stations advertised as available were not correct. You could only get 2 out of 4 stations. Also perhaps in the store, potato chips or muesli bars could have been available. Great location - the walks start at your doorstep. Or drive/walk 900 metres to the next lot of walks.

It is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the environment around you. Great walking tracks in the National Park close by and bird feeding very day on site. The service is friendly and nothing is too hard for them to help with. Highly recommend it as a place to relax and leave refreshed.

I stayed for three nights in an unpowered site. The park is beautiful, the camp kitchen excellent, and the showers hot. It's a short walk to a few of the walks, and only 1km to the others. I'm with Telstra and still had reception at the park, although it wasn't strong. They did offer wifi, but it's best near reception so I didn't bother with it seeing as I had decent reception on Telstra. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Cania.

Well stocked and clean facilities, with everything close to our site! The managers were always welcoming and friendly with good advice about where to go and when. There was a special program of entertainment for Easter which made the weekend really special.
