Carseldine Air Conditioning

We used Carseldine Air Conditioning in 2015 to install a new Daikin unit and replace a very old one. From the quote through to the installation they were fantastic. When it came to replacing three old Daikin units with new ones earlier this month (May 2019), I had no hesitation in using Carseldine Air Conditioning again. Once again, their service and installation was faultless. Highly recommended.

Firstly. they installed our unit on the wrong wall, even though we sent numerous email asking them not to install it unless we were there. They finally admitted, that the emails etc got lost in the system.After months of arguing with them they finally returned and installed it on the right wall (requiring re plastering and painting the messed up wall), only to create a loud rattle. Instead of replacing the unit as Mitsubishi itself instructs all professional installers, they slapped up the same unit.This created a loud rattle. Carseldine Air Conditioning then sent out three separate 'technicians' to fix the rattle, one who simply advised us to just to not run in in silent mode". They now refuse to even acknowledge there is even a rattle with the unit

Took a window mount AC to this mob for them to check it out. Spoke on the phone about the issue it had and was rest assured it would be checked out and fixed. Took it in and went over it’s issues again with the guys in the workshop. Told them when it’s first turned on it starts running well and you can see condensation forming along the fins as it’s getting colder. But about 5 mins in the condensation starts disappearing. Everything indicating a gas leak. I put a temp probe inside the AC and it was lucky to be 5 degrees less than ambient temp. After getting it back and the invoice says clean out and maintenance. Told buy the people it’s working fine. Took it home and tested it myself unsure because how “quickly” it was done. The air from it is lucky to be 5 degrees under ambient temp. How will it ever reach the 18 degrees it says on the display if it’s only getting down to 26 degrees. I tested my 15 year old car and it can get down to 2 degrees so the $200 or $300 charged will be the first and last time I spend money with them and their incompetent service.

Over a period of 5 to 6 months our air conditioning systems were repaired by this company. Their management both technically and professionally was poor in that over many appointments, issues were not solved by the technician and further expertise was required. The communication in solving issues was lacking. Finally resolved an additional invoice was issued with no prior consultation over the lengthy period. I feel we experienced a very poor service and could not recommend this company on any level.

Had great service from these guys earlier this month. Serviced our ducted system. Despite the heat in the roof the tech was very upbeat and got the job done. Although this is our first ducted they have installed a split system for us at our old place, so very happy with their services and will continue to use them.

Great customer service from everyone in the office and the technicians did a fantastic job!It's funny how Air Conditioning installers seem to always get really busy as Qld enters into summer... I phoned another place who said I had to wait 3-4 weeks before I could even get a quote!?! Crazy!But Carseldine AC were able to do the quote only a few days after my first call, and amazingly they managed to squeeze me in for the installation about a week later, just 2 weeks before Xmas.The new sysyst is awesome! Keeps our very large 8mx10m living room nice and cool, and the Daikin system is actually pretty quiet for its large size.I'll definitely be getting these guys back in a couple of months to do another split system in the media room.

Carseldine Air are the best. They really saved our sanity. We have ducted air conditioning and it being the middle of Summer with no air conditioning made for a very cranky household. Technicians were the best. Let us know exactly what was wrong and went out of their way to fix the problem as quickly as possible. If you need your air con fixed or just serviced give them a call.

OMG. Booked Carseldine Air Conditioning as air con not working. Was NOT informed about call out cost. I SOOO wished I asked. Cost me $280 ($240 call out fee)- to be told they can not fix it.I should have been informed of call out cost. I would NOT have booked them if I'd known.Zero value for money.AS A REPLY TO YOUR FEEDBACK. I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THE CALL OUT FEE. IF I WAS I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED YOU. $240 CALL OUT FEE A COMPLETE RIP OFF.

We were referred to them by Daikin Australia, as we really wanted a Daikin split system for two bedrooms. Paul came to view our house and recommended installation of the compressor unit under the house in the garage area, on a bracket to protect it from water run-off from the backyard slope. He was calm and professional in advising us and taking proper measurements.There was a mistake in the quotation emailed to us for the compressor unit i.e. instead of just a cooling system, they quoted a heat & cool compressor. Thankfully my wife checked the specs, being experienced in handling renovation projects in her previous job. The error was corrected and a new quote prepared, saving us quite a bundle. They were happy to accomodate our specific installation date. After that it was quite fast to get the split system installed in both bedrooms. Now we have an excellent Daikin silent mode, power saving unit in each bedroom to cool the rooms on hot summer nights.The admin staff were slow in sending us the payment receipt. We had to write to Daikin Australia to ask them to follow up with their Carseldine agents to send us the tax invoice asap. Peter, Brisbane.
