Mt Colah is a small station on the North Shore / Northern line in Sydney. Used mainly by locals, it is unattended for most of the day and there is only limited car parking nearby. There is a small shopping strip directly opposite the station with a cafe, newsagent, chemist and bottle shop.

Trains stop here only once every 30 min. There is no wheelchair access yet. Its ok, but a lot of room for improvement.

The station is not designed to cater for disabled and parents with prams. There is no wheel chair or pram access which makes it difficult for me to use the station since I travel with a pram four days a week and have to walk to Asquith station whereas I live 5 mins from mount colah station.

With an aging population and massive development of the area with units and townhouses, there has been ZERO infrastructure upgrades. The steep stair access the only facility to access the platforms makes it extremely difficult for mums/dads with prams and the elderly.

Out of hours it is cold and empty, not manned. Access is not disability friendly. No lift. During daytime hours there is a station manager on duty who is quite a lovely person.Recommend going to Hornsby for better facilities or Berowra. Especially if disabled.
