Would not recommend this location for first time expecting parents who need to have their first ultrasound performed.The receptionist was lovely and she accommodated a last minute booking (had mistakenly booked at Spectrum). She had insisted I stay and she would book me in with a ‘lovely lady’.I was advised to go wait in another section of Lumus for my ultrasound. Upon entering the room, the bed/ chair was not set up correctly. I had to stand awkwardly waiting for her to do so and she then performed an external ultrasound at first. She had asked my husband and I questions about our pregnancy such as how far along we were and if this is our first. There was a lot of silence in the room for a period of time and I had joked if she could see anything. She simply said no and asked if I would like to have an internal ultrasound. I confirmed and she asked me to go to the toilet to empty my bladder. Once I returned to the room, she asked me to remove my pants/ underwear and put on the paper dressing gown. She did not remove herself from the room whilst I did this. This was a completely awkward process as I was holding up the gown to get my clothing off and then had to position/ balance myself onto a wedge pillow. She then asked me to insert the rod whilst in this seated position then asked to lay down and adjust my position for her. She continued with the internal ultrasound and confirmed she could not see anything. My husband and I asked what this meant and she said there is no embryo & would most likely miscarry. This was absolutely devastating to hear when expecting good news. She showed no empathy and from previous experience of having multiple internal ultrasounds performed, her technique was very questionable.

Amazing service from the team today. Special recognition to Liliane for her efforts with my scan & prompt response sending my report and Rebecca on reception. Both were patient, kind and respectful towards me. I Appreciate their work and highly recommend.

Terrible experience, never going to a Lumus again.Took me 7 days (they tell you it's a 1-2 day wait) and a request for refund for the result to actually be received.In this time, I spoke with Lumus multiple times regarding the delay and the only 3 options which were recycled were,1. Come get it yourself in person (I had an mri for a knee injury, so imagine the solution being that the injured person needs to go in)2. Tell your medical centre to call us" which I did

Liliane is such a fantastic radiologist, there was absolutely no room to fit me into her appointments the receptionist said but somehow she managed to squeeze me in and I only just called and made the appointment less then 3 hours ago definitely recommend!

Horrible bookings person/ receptionist who called me today regarding the online booking I made. She had no idea what she was talking about. First off, she told me they don’t do viability scans and only pregnancy scans. When a viability scan IS a pregnancy scan. She then told me to come in today because my referral form was marked ‘urgent’ when it wasn’t. She then proceeded to argue with me that it’s too early for me to do my scan when my specialist specifically instructed me to do the scan and I have a referral to do so.Please train your customer service staff with knowledge and manners. I’ve never spoken to someone in customer service with such a bad attitude before.

I've been coming here for my scans for a few years now as Lumus is my number 1 choice, they are wonderful! Starting with the awesome reception staff who are so warm, welcoming and super efficient; making what can be a stressful process one that is easy and pleasant to experience. Reception Manager Chrissy in particular deserves a special mention here, each time I've attended Lumus she's been able to squeeze me in for scans on days where my time has been extremely limiting, all the while ensuring I knew exactly where to go, what to do and what to expect. The sonographers/radiographers etc are equally as warm and welcoming and I'm always appreciative of this. Thanks Lumus Bankstown for being so amazing!

I underwent an MRI scan there today. Despite not having an appointment scheduled, the welcoming receptionist managed to fit me in. Extremely friendly staff, highly recommended!Thank you and keep up the great work that you do in a such a demanding sector.

The receptionist Chrissie was so helpful when I forgot my referral and arranged to get another one with my GP on the phone. Saved my day! Staff were professional and friendly even though they were super busy. Results were sent to my GP very promptly. This site also had dedicated accessible parking & lift access which was a huge plus while on crutches. Would come here again.

Had a friend over on holiday from Fiji who needed medical attention urgently. Chrissie and team patienrly guided on steps for booking as a non resident Got all tests done , got 2 urgent reports (as friend had 3 days before departure). Sadly, got final report after friend left stating she had cancer. We were so touched to get a call from Lumus team and Dr Susheel to check on how my friend was. Dr Susheel said we are human and need to look out for each other".Amazing team. Thank you xo."
