Bare Knoll
Great new campsite with wooden platforms for around 7-8 tents. Non-flush toilet and a rainwater tank provided. Added bonus of not having to slog up and down a giant ascent to get to it, unlike Wughalee Falls.

Really nice campsite, seems quite new. Clean washroom, and drinking water (rain collected) available. Eight raised platforms for tents.Would camp there again

The best free camp in the area, avoid the busyness of the huts and do your own 'free capes' walk.

Short walk (100m) along platform walkway to the camping platforms. Everything was brand new and clean and I would definitely recommend this camp ground over the other one. Lovely people at the camp happy to have a chat and share the excitement of this amazing hike. And no sneaky sneks around the place
