Great stop. Free hot showers and next to the rail trail. Pub and pool great all just a quick walk. Quiet. People friendly. Thanks Wondai

What a wonderful little spot. Close to shops so you can go for walks. Has toilets and hot showers but unfortunately the showers were cold but someone was attempting to fix the problem. Everyone cleaned up after themselves so a very clean place to stay. Would stay there again

Great because of convenience. You can camp here after a ride to murgon. Only annoyance is light pollution.When you go inland similar capsites do not seem to have as much light pollution. Probably as less developed. One of the benefits as opposed to nearby rail trail campsites is there is little noise pollution.

This is one of the best free camps in Queensland hot showers clean and well looked after toilets 2 minutes walk to the shops

A really good camp in the centre of town on grass. Amenities are amazingly clean every day. Many thanks and compliments to whoever looks after them. Wondai has most things you would need and is a very neat little town. The residents should be proud of their town and the travelling public should respect them for what has been provided. Well done Wondai, very impressed. Many thanks to all concerned.

Excellent free camping. We enjoyed staying for one night. Lots of space, grassy area. Amenities in good shape, cleaned regularly. I can only highlight the hot showers - so great.It is situated near town center without being exposed to noise or so. You can explore the local stores and restaurants, they are all in walking distance.Rural fire brigade and police were passing by couple times, so felt really safe as well.Wondai is such a nice place and I hope the free camp spot continues to attract travelers to stay a night or two and enjoy couple drinks at the pub.
