The opening hours are so restrictive if you work full time elsewhere but are a resident of Newmarket. 9-5, they have ideal working hours but shame that the real world doesn't.

A gift that I posted to the UK was incorrectly processed as a domestic item, yet I was charged for both the domestic and international postage. The item was lost in the system as a result. Poor service and I lost a lot of money in the process.Plus the opening hours are so restrictive and do not accommodate those that work.

I was not impressed by the service. I was already in the queue - and asked for assistance regarding reply paid postage, and was told I just needed to fill in the details on a slip and they would sort out the rest - when I returned (a line had already built up) so I just walked up to the counter to confirm that I had everything in order; the staff who initially wanted to point me in the right direction got intimidated by another impatient customer who thought I had jumped the queue and then changed demeanour immediately and curtly said I needed to now buy a bag not just fill in the slip. What happened to being fair to all customers?

For the last couple of months I have been a regular customer at Newmarket Post Office because the staff are so helpful and friendly. Every few days I visit the PO posting several heavy large parcels and always I am greeted with a smile and my parcels efficiently processed.

No longer opening on Saturdays is ridiculous and no after hours collections offered... good luck getting parcels if you work full time

Quick & efficiently friendly service provided! Wheelchair access is available plus parking provided by the Newmarket Shopping Village! A great little post office!
