I really don't know why this business is operating. The owner is incredibly rude and gives the impression that he couldn't care less about you or your tiles. When I brought in the tile to match, he told me the tile colour was hard to match, he found one though and I paid him $10 for it, I gave the tile to the owner and she approved it, I went back a month later handed him the tile and he told me that I could get them from Bunnings, I informed him that I'd purchased it from him. He spent 10 minutes looking, came back and said he didn't have any. If I could give the business -5 stars I would.

After reading other reviews I thought this guy can't be that bad, but unfortunately it's true, he is very rude and very expensive, he wanted to charge me $20 a tile, I needed 24 tiles that's $480 when I said it's too expensive he said they are very old and you won't get them anywhere.I shopped around and found Kenlux tiles on Canterbury road, very helpful guy named Tony allowed me to search around his yard and I found what I needed still expensive at $5 a tile , he has a huge stock of discontinued tiles, but he will load into your car for you, so if you're looking for discontinued tiles in Sydney there are alternatives.

The male on the phone is completely rude and not helpful at all. Some people do not have a way to travel out to Peakhurst. Very unhelpful and very un-professional. Obviously needs to take a course in customer service.

The tiles were probably good. But the service was appalling. Never got to see any tiles because the guy behind the counter just kept saying no "."

I just spoke to the most rude and person. I was advised to ring this company by two leading tiling warehouses in Newcastle. I received a copy of a pamphlet stating phone or fax us a description of the tile/s you are looking for. After waiting for a reply to my message. I was rudely told that he did not received photo's on his phone or through his email. The only way he could help me is to come in with a tile. So I would have to travel to Sydney on the off chance this rude person may have tiles to match. If he could be bothered to even look. Why bother sending pamphlets if your just going to rubbish people who follow what is said.

Absolutely Brilliant, I cannot believe he had the tiles which we estimate were 50 years old. Very old school operation, catalog in his head, I had none of the issues other's reported owner was polite and helpful. I paid $10 per tile which i thought was very reasonable given the alternative was rip them all up and redo the entire floor which would have cost me thousands. I think some people need to remember your not paying for the tile you are paying for him keeping them all these years.

This place has a mind boggling range of old and reclaimed tiles, stacked on shelves high to the ceiling. It is run in a very traditional way - it’s not self-service. You take your sample/picture to the man at the front counter and he’ll select the matching tiles from the shelf. I found the owner to be helpful, once you realise these are the ‘rules’ of the shop (for safety reasons).

This is a life saver of your looking for discontinued tiles, as the name suggests! Manned by a guy who knows exactly where his tiles are, which is amazing. Seem to have photographic memory of the whole place, found my old school tiles in 5 min search. There has been a lot of bad reviews about him, as you can see. I'd say he's just eccentric. No malice at all.

Disappointing after waiting a while to be told the tile I needed was not available. The person managing the shop was very knowledgeable but not helpful as he seemed to want us to leave due t the queue outside.
