Over 20 years, I’ve trained at 4 capoeira schools and this is by far the most easy-going, family and community oriented school I’ve attended. My 6.yo daughter also trains here and has a lot of fun. There are no egos here, only a genuine shared passion for capoeira and to help each other improve.If you’ve never tried capoeira, come and watch a class, a performance or even try a class. It’s a unique combination of martial arts, dance, singing, acrobatics and Brazilian culture.

If you want the feeling of community, experience diversity, love rythm and music and have an interest in myths and history... who would have thought youd find all of this with a Martial art. The teachers and students creat such a good vibe and energy. Caters for different levels of physicality and fitness... and its amazing when your body starts to be able to do things you couldnt even imagine. Melbourne Abada Capoeira is an amazing group of people. As a student, I fully recommend this school. With branches all over Melbourne... you should try.
