Gnadenfrei Professional Psychology & Counselling

Wonderful counselor who helped me get through my problems in a very professional and respectful way. I reccommend her as a counselor for anyone needing support.

A childhood trauma which I never told anyone about and was never going to, until Anne Dowling and I started EMDR sessions. During one of the sessions the event was told, my first time telling anyone and accepting it, thinking it was in 'trustworthy' hands. How I was wrong!She proceeded to call me telling me she spoke to a family member openly, which resulted in her coming to my house and disclosing this secret in detail to members of my family.. It was a shock as I NEVER GAVE CONSENT. Reminiscing on it for weeks as I had to bring myself to be able to tell other family members. During those weeks I was the most mentally unstable person and Anne never cared because it was out of care" she told them and knows how much trust had been put into the sessions. After this incident I returned as I wanted Anne to know how mentally distraught I was

The person I saw was very kind, professional and helped me talk through the issues I was facing. I was also provided with helpful tools to use in future stressful settings. Even after I had stopped having appointments at Gnadenfrei the consellor I was seeing still called to see how I was getting on after I moved to a Counselor closer to home.

Gnadenfrei counselling and psychology has been an awesome indelible force in my life which I will never regret. Linda and Simone office staff are caring and listen well supporting clients to the best therapist. Coral and her professional team are more than caring and extremely thorough working on many aspects finding route causes for any mental health issues present.Through the Blue Butterfly Foundation Gnadenfrei assist those who are financially stressed. They use EMDR and other therapies which, after assessing Work through processing issues, certainly lifting my quality of emotional well-being.

The staff are warm and kind, they go out of their way to help people. The counsellor i talk to is wonderful. I am very happy with the service I recieve at Gnadenfrei :)

I had a ex wife with an acquired brain injury attending this office for psychological help and when my marriage broke down I was forced to go through family court due to my ex wife becoming bitter and alienating my then 9yo daughter. I went 9 months without contact at all with my daughter. I was shocked when it came to court there was a letter from gnardenfrei labelling me as an abusive husband. How can someone write such a letter on a bitter persons opinion without meeting me or researching her past (I was the 2nd victim of my ex wife). I attempted to contact Gnardenfrei and they would not discuss it with me citing its in the hands of court. How can a professional psychologist write letters claiming a person as abusive when they have no evidence? I now have full custody as my daughter suffered emotional abuse due to the controlling behaviour of her mother. That would have been a better assumption of the whole situation and unfortunately a little girl was the victim of the whole situation.

The staff are very warm and welcoming help you out anyway they can my son attends here and we can't speak highly enough of the professionalism they show and accommodate to his needs
