I called in and there was only a lady in the store, I was only window shoping for future purchase but found the lady very attentive and not over powing as I do not like being jumped on as I after a store.It is very difficult for staff in retail as we are all different.Just have some understanding and as long as you are served except we all have bad bays.

When you walk into a store with full intentions to spend a few thousand dollars on outdoor furniture, only to walk out before spending a single cent due to the staff’s behaviour; you would assume the manager or people in charge would want to know about it. Well not Gary at BBQs Galore in Mittagong.I recently attended the shop with my partner after moving house. With a large new entertaining deck to break in, we intended to purchase not only a better stand for our BBQ but a whole outdoor setting.As we walked in, there were 3 men in staff uniforms chatting around the register. Not one of them stopped their conversation to address us until we awkwardly waited in front of the counter. Once we were acknowledged we asked if they stocked a particular brand of BBQ stands and were very bluntly told they did not, so instead we said we would look around at their outdoor tables and chairs. As we browsed the store the men remained at the counter and continued their conversation, not offering any kind of assistance.As we walked past to leave the store my partner thanked them and got completely ignored.I was appalled at this rudeness and lack of customer service and just assumed any superiors of the store would appreciate knowing.What I was not aware of was that one of the men in the store was Gary, the manager himself, who then proceeded to yell abuse at me down the phone, as well as argue and interrupt while I tried to recount the events from our perspective as customers.Gary threatened me with CCTV footage, claiming that it would prove we actually were served, he told me we were the ones being rude because my partner had walked into the store and briefly kept his sunglasses on (sunglasses which are prescriptions) before then swapping them to his regular glasses. Eventually Gary provided me with a number that was supposedly for his Area Manager, although I did not get through and no one has returned my voicemail.Overall, I recommend to take your BBQ and outdoor furniture needs elsewhere until this store is under better management and has a team that understands what decent customer service looks like.

APPALLING INSTALLATION CAUSED TWO LEAKS......I was referred by this business to a Wood Heater installer who caused 2 separate leaks in my roof. Had I not been home at the time, my ceiling would have been ruined. The flu height was not quoted correctly causing the final section of Chimney being added later - and this resulted in a malicious installation by an employee of the installer - that caused 1 of the leaks. Cause? Final piece of chimney was not crimped. Allegedly a deliberate act. It turns out plumbers more than other trades seem to have dodgy employees.The second leak was caused by the installer not applying sealant all around the flashing. This was verified by a well known Wood heater installer/chimney sweeper who fixed the fault.This business was not responsible for these leaks, but they DID underestimate the length of the flu. AND they referred me to the installer (J.E.) who I later heard from other people here is only every used ONCE because there are always problems with his work. Very unhappy and will never use this business again. ZERO STARS.

We purchased a combustion fireplace and after paying a large deposit to get the ball rolling and the ball rolled quite slow in deed. We were left to wonder what was happening and when it would be installed, and any communication was initiated by us when we would ring to enquire what was happening. After approximately 2 months it was finally installed just in time for a big downpour of rain so that we could wake to find a water feature in our living room. We rang several times to have the problem fixed with no return phone calls from the installer so we gave up, went to Bunnings, bought the stuff and fixed it ourselves. When it rains again we’ll find out if our job was adequate. Not exactly the service you’d expect after paying over 3 grand in total.

I have an old fire place & the door needed resealing with a new rope & a bracket. Although the fabricate caused issues with delays & ending up sending the wrong size. The team at BBQ Galore Mittagong kept me informed & got the matter resolved. I highly recommend the team at BBQ Galore Mittagong.

The team at BBQ galore mittagong , I believe are untrained, inconsiderate and honestly just terrible people.I took my grandparents their to buy a new fireplace, the team took full advantage of the age of my grandparents and tried their hardest too intimate by getting the whole working team out on the floor to try and scare us away because we went in with a question regarding the fireplace.The gentleman also was very unprofessional, and tried to rip my poor grandparents off.The gentleman that served us made us feel like we could not afford the fireplace.I would highly recommend that you do not attend this business, go out of the area for much better service.
