Siam Cabana Fine Thai Massage (Bondi Beach)

Had a wonderful foot massage + 15 minute neck massage that really helped me relax!The place is nice and quiet for a little break from busy Bondi.

I had a poor massage here today. Feeling some muscle aches, I thought I’d try to relieve it, but experienced quite the opposite with a very uncomfortable massage.About halfway though, the therapist left the room, another therapist took over for a minute or so and a third did the second half. I was a bit surprised by this switching throughout as it seemed unprofessional.Both therapist seemed very inexperienced and caused a bit of pain, it’s the first time I’ve ever had to ask for less pressure, as it was essentially being elbowed for the most part.I was hesitant to write a poor review, but having seen a few others experience the same, I thought I should share.

Had such a bad experience! I’ve been coming to this place for years and they must have changed their policy, trying to make more money!! NOT giving a proper massage anymore, saying while getting the massage that you HAVE to pay $10 extra to get more pressure?!I thought that it was maybe just with me, and I got annoyed (so not relaxed while massaging), but then my friend who LOVES soft massages asked to ha e more pressure, got the same response to pay an extra 10$ otherwise they won’t do it, and then I heard a girl next to me ask the same and offered the 10$ extra deal!It was DEFINITELY not just me and I’m soooo disappointed!It’s not even about the 10 dollar, it’s about not giving a proper massage in the first place, while we paid for a massage! And don’t say “oh you paid for relaxation” because just touching someone is not a massage!Got not offered thee or water after anymore and I asked the girl at the reception what was happening and she told me “it’s always been like this”I’ve been coming here for over 5 years regularly, so I’m very very disappointed!

My family have been regular clients of Siam Cabana since it opened on Hall St. I am disappointed to have to make this review but after regularly having massages here I attended on the 19/07 and had a 30 minute neck and shoulder massage. The masseuse did not ask what pressure I would like or if there was any spots of concerns or issues I wanted to be worked on. The massage was awful, painful and extremely uncomfortable. The masseuse managed the same spot on my back for 10 minutes, and even after requesting less pressure he continued to press extremely hard which was almost excruciating. He did not request I turn over or sit up, which I know is what they typically do as I have had this massage a number of times previously.Directly after my massage I complained to the lady at the front, who was talking to another staff member at the time. Neither of them took any responsibility for the issue, and suggested in future I tell the masseuse what pressure I want, which I did!I returned 2 days later, wanting to give this place another chance to redeem themselves. This time the woman at the front told me to fill out a complaints form, which she did not offer me after my massage. I filled out the form and was told the manager would call me within a week.It has been over a month since my massage, and I have had no contact from anyone. Luckily for me and unfortunately for them, there are a number of other massage places within 5 minutes of this place, and I know for sure neither myself nor my family or friends will be returning after this experience!

Came in for a couple massage today and unfortunately the place does not have any working AC or heater so the only thing they supply to keep you warm is an electric blanket underneath the sheets - my partner’s one worked and mine didn’t. So I just froze for a whole hour. I asked for a heater or some sort of a solution but they don’t have any. The masseuse that saw that I am shaking, brought me three extra towels so I’m not too cold but it’s definitely not how you want to spend your evening especially when you’re having a deep tissue massage.Before I left I tried saying something to the manager, just so she is aware of the problem. The same Asian lady that spoke perfectly fine when I called to book the appointment and was chatty and nice when requesting a payment in advance upon arrival, suddenly didn’t spoke any English. She stood there with shocked eyes, waiting for us to finish talking and leave. No apology or explanation. I won’t come back and it’s only because of that manager - I have to admit the masseuse was good and I wish I could come see him in a place where the owner respects his clients.

Got a 60 min Thai massage and it was very good! Waan did an amazing job and gave attention to the specific areas I wanted to loosen up (back & shoulders). She made sure I was comfortable and checked multiple times if the pressure was okay as the areas were very very tight. Also you get some Thai tea after the massage which is a lovely touch. Thanks again!

Came to Siam cabana with a friend for a aromatherapy massage and booked prior, when we arrived we started to receive a foot massage and thought it was complimentary yet it was not. When the massage finished we confronted the woman at the desk about it and she started to use her radio and watch her cameras as if she thought we were going to run out without paying, this made us feel extremely belittled and we just wanted to know where we got lost in communication. Do not recommend the foot massage hurt honestly and the receptionist was incredibly rude.

Niki's massage was the best. Very good professional. The right products, could be better. Privacy 0. The booths have no privacy as they are divided by a cloth and the man next door does not stop making strange noises.
