Initially they were great, but we had a follow on issue (not AES fault). Once the techs are onsite they’re excellent. But I’ve been waiting to hear about a replacement part for nearly a month. They don’t answer the phone, and they don’t respond to emails. Very disappointing

We contacted AES in mid-April 2022 about a problem with our Bosch washing machine. The problem was that water was not coming into the machine. A technician came round within a few days and came to the conclusion that we needed a new inlet valve. The valve was ordered and arrived at AES a week or so later but it was almost a month after the part arrived that the technician came back to install the new valve. In the meantime I had emailed and phoned AES many times and got very little response, apart from one apologetic email. It is almost impossible to get through to them onto the phone, which is very frustrating, especially when you have piles of washing that need to be done.Once the valve was replaced the machine worked okay for about a week but then stopped working. I contacted AES again to see if they could work out what was going on but received no response whatsoever despite trying several times. In the end I contacted another repair service (Detlev’s) who came within a few days and worked out that the cause of the problem was something else (it was the pressure reducer in the hose that Bosch supplies with their washing machines - it wasn’t faulty but we just needed to adjust the tap so that the pressure reducer wouldn’t stop the flow). The technician was able to fix the problem within a few minutes and it turned out that it was completely unnecessary to replace the inlet valve so we had gone to needless expense. I contacted AES for a refund on the inlet valve earlier this week but have received no reply.Overall we are very disappointed with the service that we received from AES. We appreciate that many businesses have been struggling in recent months but there is really no excuse for this kind of unresponsiveness. If you are considering getting repairs done quickly and properly I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Adam arrived today as arranged and was absolutely delightful from the get-go. I was also very happy to see he was wearing a mask. (I have a box of masks and sanitiser at my front door, just in case, but seeing Adam arrive with a mask on was very reassuring and very professional.)Adam was friendly, efficient and fixed my Miele washing machine. He also offered to contact Miele regarding our dishwasher which is very noisy (and, lets' face it, you buy a Miele to have a SILENT dishwasher, not a noisy one!) and will check whether they will cover our dishwasher under warranty.I would definitely use AES Appliance Service again.One more thing - my first point of contact was with Kristy and she could not have been more friendly and professional. Having the family moved up from Melbourne with a toddler it was imperative to get the washing machine repaired. Booked for next day but early notification tradesman was sick. I was booked for the following day. Adam turned up early asking it it was ok. Very professional and friendly gent. Would not hesitate to use them again. Rosie B

My parents paid for the initial call out in January and have been waiting on a part. Have now been told to contact AES as the part is in but phone isn't being answered, messages aren't being returned, no way to contact them. Such a disappointment and will be going elsewhere if they don't hear back this week.

My oven element broke and a repair technician came to fix it/order a replacement. After many weeks of no contact from AES I rang them, they only answer the phones from 10-2. No answer so attempted to email, still no reply. Waited a few more weeks to be told they’d follow it up. Wait again and had to chase them. They finally said they’d order the part. Now again several weeks later, no updates, no answering the phones over several days, no reply to emails. Extremely disappointing and I’d struggle to recommend. Very sad as have had good service from them years ago.

We had / have a Miele dryer which had not worked properly from new. AES are the agents for Miele in Canberra and were very patient as Miele made them return 3-4x trialing parts before the final event of replacing the unit under warranty. They were friendly and professional and know the products.Happy to recommend.

We commenced a dishwasher repair with AES in late November 2022. While we received an initial quote for the repair (which had to be followed up) when the technician came to do the repair on the 22 December he decided that it actually needed further parts, so we commenced the quoting process again. It is now the 21 January and we have not received the quote. I have followed up many times, including numerous emails and phone calls. Phoning is a total waste of time as you never receive a call back when you leave a message. I have been promised the quote numerous times, but nothing received. I have now given up. Very disappointing service. I am also frustrated that I paid the initial call out fee of $195 for nothing.
