Eclipse Driver Training

I’m very lucky to have found Richard, only 4 lessons and passed my driving test on the first attempt!! It was an absolute pleasure learning from him - he's patient and understanding, his clear guidance and tremendously helpful tips helped me gain more confidence on the road. I could see my driving skills had significantly improved after each and every lesson. Would definitely recommend him in a heartbeat :)

Richard was an absolutely fantastic instructor. He gave a lot of useful feedback and encouragement to help me become more confident and a better driver. I felt at ease and comfortable during the lessons as he talked me through what I needed to work on. I passed the driving test on my first try thanks to Richard!! After not driving for over 1 year, I am so pleased to say that I have passed my driving test on the first try with Richard as my instructor.Not only did he teach me the basics of driving, he had help me build my confidence in getting behind the wheel and trusting myself with my decision-making. Richard has such a different, down to earth approach in teaching everyone that comes to him for lessons. He's understanding, empathetic and overall a fun instructor to have - you will always be looking forward to his lesson and wonder where time has gone by the end of it.I will surely miss our drives!

Passed my test today first try, Richard not only restored my confidence in getting behind the wheel after almost a year without driving. He made each lesson an absolute pleasure to attend and never once have I thought that each hour was wasted as I have been shaped into a much more observant driver. Unlike other instructors I have been with in the past, Richard gives off this amazing aura that rubs off onto and truly makes every lesson special, I always looked forward for the days I chose to my practice on. I had not been driving for more than a year before my driving test. I was nervous to get back behind the wheel. Richard has helped me to get back on the road with confidence after a few lessons. He managed to teach an anxiety ridden student terrified of driving, into someone not only able to pass his driver's test, but someone confident in his driving. Richard is highly professional, punctual and passionate instructor. He has a wealth of knowledge, experience and an array of invaluable tools. Richard has acute observation skills and he provides constructive feedback on areas of improvement and positive reinforcement. He is also good at reinforcing road rules and giving you techniques to cope with stressful situations. He's calm and confident manner and the fact that he is a genuinely nice person put you instantly at ease. I did driving with Richard at the start of the year for a few months and he was extremely patient and dedicated to help me develop my skills as a driver. While I didn't have him for my test as it was in Deer Park, he supported me in driving using techniques I had already learnt and was most comfortable with.I've had 3 instructors prior to Richard and he's definitely my favourite! I passed the drive test on the first try in April and I still think about the techniques and lessons he's taught me while driving :)Thank you so much Richard!!
