Went to a lot of trouble to inspect a rental property to be told if I'm serious" need to do the online 3rd party application - with a privacy policy that has more red flags than a Chinese communist parade - or too bad. They weren't willing to allow me to complete a paper-based form instead. Registered for another inspection with a different Harcourts today and had the form sent to me in a matter of a few minutes. Not everyone is willing to blindly divulge an insane amount of sensitive information/documents

I have been extremely disappointed with my experience as a landlord. I believe Harcourts-Smith Semaphore has a lot to answer for. As a result of their unprofessional actions I have found it necessary to take a dispute to the SACAT Tribunal. I would advise anyone to think carefully before doing any business with them. It may cost you much more than you think. I will not comment any further until after the forthcoming hearing.
