We were so disappointed with our meals. Spaghetti marinara 3 mussels 3 prawns no calamari or fish smattering of tiny clams. $32 Members price. Chicken Parma seniors size at the best chips were not freshly cooked.$22. Specials board very poor. Hope the standard can improve under the newly appointed manager maria who was very pleasant.

So disappointed .will never go back.37th anniversary and been members for long time .ordered 4 meals only 2 came out after an hour and asking where are meals where. we never got the the 2 meals and left .was so unorganised .was disgusting.wouldn’t give our money back for the 4meals .not to mention the attitude when I asked for money back .Duty manager didn’t even really care we never got our meals .GO GET STUFFED DCS.will take my money somewhere else .

Top notch bistro meals! Granted, we probably ordered the most popular items on the menu, and glad to say they did not disappoint.Started off with an order of cheesy bread (that is, melted cheese on a lovely toasted roll cut in half), and that fills you up quite a bit to start with! In the photo there are only 2 bits of bread, but we had eaten the other 2 bits already before we took the photo.If I was to try hard just to find something to nit-pick about, maybe I didn't get enough thick cut chips with my chicken parma? But have a look at the photo, and you be the judge.The chicken caesar salad was also delicious, and we paired it with extra chicken tenders. Thanks Dandy Club - you served us well tonight. Great food, great service, will be back.

Had a function here. Second actually. Amit and team did a fantastic job of organising everything. The food was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Have enjoyed lunch here for a number of years now .... but 6 in for lunch today - 3 having Porterhouse steak. Sorry, but a thin gristle loaded piece of steak cooked on a hot plate does not cut the mustard" at the price charged of $34.00. All three having the steak were disappointed ... and what has happened to the "fat" chips - skinny little things were the offering today. Very small serve of the "seniors" calamari. Unfortunately it appears that things have changed over recent times."

Bowls club downstairs is cool! Newly renovated and includes a bar. Bowls staff are awesome.Function room downstairs would be great for birthdays, presentations and other events.Upstairs restaurant is nice. Always a good meal. Cheap but good quality. Staff are lovely and quick to serve. Sometimes there’s a wait for main meals when busy but we’re always patient.Foyer bar dining area is good for cheaper meals. Always good quality and comes from the same kitchen anyway!

We have been members for 30 years and used to go to lunch every Sunday but had a few bad experiences and stopped. We were going to the Starkie show (which was great) on Sunday and decided to do lunch in the restaurant. Now to the restaurant!!! Worst experience ever. Greeting was poor, we arrived early and the girl said we I will have to move things around" the restaurant never filled the entire time we were there. She plopped us on our table without a courteous word. We ordered a bottle of wine. The waitress brought over two glasses of wine. When we said we ordered a bottle she said "Oh yes that is on the bar". We ordered the food and waited 20 minutes for my meal to come out! The lovely elderly lady sitting next to us got a meal that was supposed to be satay chicken as the waitress even announced it as she put it down. It was definitely not satay as you could smell the curry
