Bogey Hole Mollymook
An under rated place to go swimming in summer. Family friendly place to take the family for a swim.

Hidden gems on route to Sydney. Enjoyed a sunny afternoon during winters. The rocks and warm shallow water were relaxing. Good place to bring infants and babies.

I didn't swim in the hole but there was enough people there especially with children, good area for kids.

Fantastic place, so much to explore and quote save for the smol kids.We will make this our beach spot for this coming summer. Not a lot of shade, but some around the tree line. There is a fantastic tide pool worry very calm water. Good for all ages and can be swam in at high low and medium tides. If you are in the area, you should definitely check this place out, it's gorgeous.

we just loved this....it was totally sheltered ....basically a natural shallow ocean pool...surrounded by rocks..some submerged but no real danger .we played with young kids in the water for hours....we played shark. lobster...crawling around in the water with kids climbing all over us...you don't need to be a swimmer to enjoy this as it's pretty shallow in most parts (I think?) so long as an adult is watching you...so much fun...and there's rocks you can climb. ..a beautiful view everywhere you look....it's not a huge area....in fact one super large extended family could take over the whole area.....bring a few chairs to sit on or just lean on a rock or lie on the sand....it was shady on the sand.. take some food along that you can carry for the 5 min walk from the car park...there are no cooking facilities at all....toilets aren't far from the car park....

There’s a place where you can bathe in the ocean in perfect safety, just next to Mollymook Golf Course.Curiously, the name “Bogey Hole” has nothing to do with golf, and comes from the local Aboriginal term for “bathing”. This large tidal pool was probably used by Aboriginal people for centuries or even millennia to trap fish. The pool is protected by tall rocks, and has an inner area for a relaxing swim, and an outer area for snorkelling. If you’re a grownup looking for a proper swim the Bogey Hole is best at high tide, but families with smaller bathers will be pleased with the pool at any time.

Woah, amazing swimming area for smaller children. Not too deep and the tides not strong.

A great place to go for a walk on a path and go for a swim. Amazing rock formations. Highly recommend it.
