Brighton-Le-Sands Beach
Long stretch of white sand with small waves. You can watch planes landing. You can swim but I heard there are sharks spotted before. So don’t swim if there are no flags or lifeguards.

As a hijabi woman, I am happy to go there with my husband. There is a nice long walking/biking path. However, the beach is not clean enough for swimming. Additionally, my friend experienced itching after swimming there

It was after 6 pm when we reached there. Maybe because it was summer, it wasn’t that dark. The sky was blue and the white clouds looked like wool. The air had salty taste of ocean. The sand was vast. We couldn’t hold our excitement. Especially my friend as it was her first time. Love the tall trees on the side of the road acting as border between the two lands separating the civilisation from the nature. Being the water girl, it was hard to hold myself from going to the water. There wasn’t many people as it was a weekday. The water was cold but we definitely enjoyed walking near the wave. There was something about the beach that made us forget about our adult body and brought the inner child out of us; collecting the sea shells, racing with each other, splashing water, dancing and singing loud like nobody matter in that moment, like we didn’t care about going to job tomorrow. The sun set slowly turning the sky into the canvas full of different beautiful colours; pink, purple, blue, red, yellow, orange. My heart was filled with joy; seeing the beauty of nature that I can’t explain in words but just feel it at that moment. It was getting dark and we could see the stars and constellations. The seven stars constellation still looks like a pot to me where my mom used to boil milk. As I lay down on the beach watching the stars, it reminded of my hometown where I was born and grew up, where I used to look at the stars.

One of the quietest beaches in Sydney and you can find good places to have dinner :)

Beach with white sand and no waves at all. Can observe the plane as it takes off and lands. Nearby you'll find several excellent dining options as well as nice coffee!A great family outing location.

Popular beach where the water is calm with small waves like a southern Europe beach suitable for swimming. There's a swimming net, but many people swim outside the net area. However, there's no lifeguard available. In the day, there's stand up paddle boards available for hire, and there's an area for beach volleyball. The beach has bathroom and outdoor shower facilities, and is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes, ice cream and coffee outlets. You also get a decent view of the airport from here and can watch planes take off and land.

this beach is visible from my balcony and 30 min walking distance from my house. it was one my greater decision to move here. this place makes me calm and happy every single time. its quite underrated as not much people visit this place which actually makes me fall tor this place even more. walking in solidity or spending quality time with friends here. not to forget some cool coffee shops around

Love this beach. Perfect restaurants and cafes around there. The sea is not that strong waves and not that cold, it’s good.

Brighton-Le-Sands Beach
Popular beach for its calm waters and beautiful backdrop with aircraft landing and taking off at Sydney airport. Accessible from Rockdale station. No lifeguard service. Lots of seating arrangements and other public amenities.
