Gowrie Early Learning Karawara

My little one loves going to 'school' at Gowrie Karawara. When he started attending, he was very reserved but the care and encouragement provided by the staff has helped his social development. He now looks forward to the days he can attend 'school' and play with his friends and he refers to his educators as his 'good friends'. The learning activities that are organised by the educators here are excellent. My son also has a hearing disability and the staff at Gowrie Karawara have been very accommodating with the daycare visits and info requests from his speech therapist.

We love the childcare here at Gowrie. Educators are excellent!

Parents beware.Childcare facility looks great seems to have all bells and whistles.As for management and communication, all we could assume is the place is severely understaffed and lack of leadership and direction in how the place is run.This is to the point where emails will need to be constantly chase up for action/answer.Also read the fine prints thoroughly as we have been caught out.The lack of communication when it comes to payments is appalling.We recently discovered that our credit card details are still kept by the accounts department and have been charged a sum of money 6 months after we have ceased services this is with no heads up nor any answer to query emails.General consensus is that the place use to be A1 years ago however it has gone downhill since.We feel as though the management is also not too concerned in using ignorance & silence as a tactic of getting away with shortcomings.

I have had and am having, a wonderful experience with this day care. My daughter had her first day here last week and absolutely loved it. She is a timid and cautious child who gets very nervous around new people and new environments, but she just couldn't get enough of this place and didn't want to leave!As a primary and early childhood teacher, I value the importance of quality education and care, especially in the first few years of life. I believe that this center truly lives up to my high expectations. The educators are lovely and caring, management is honest and efficient, and the rooms are filled with engaging resources. The communication between parents is more than I could expect and am truly grateful for their work.I highly recommend this center for all children , no matter the personality!

My 2 children started at Gowrie Karawara about 18 months ago when they were 18m and 2.5yrs old. The staff were absolutely amazing in helping both kids settle into the new routine and walked me through how we could make the adjustment easier for them (and me!). Within 4-6 weeks they were both happily waving me goodbye at morning drop off - every parents dream!We have neighbours who take their younger children to Gowrie as well and they all love it.The staff are all so friendly and know all the kids across the different rooms. You can see they take a genuine interest in the kids and are great to deal with as a parent too. Our kids have formed a really special bond with the carers there.We have been very lucky to secure placements at Gowrie and see our kids so happy and well cared for. We appreciate the efforts of all the staff.Having tried a family day care and another centre previously this centre is leagues above the rest. Thank you Gowrie!

Such a wonderful Centre with amazing outdoor yards and so much history - certainly not like the new centres being built! Very caring staff who truly love all of the kids in their care. My daughter and son absolutely love it at Gowrie Karawara.
