Don't Waste Your Time or MoneyThis business can't deliver steel to Australian Standards! The steel they installed for me had a massive warp in it and did not comply with Australian Standards. They are completely unprofessional and only think about money and how they can get more from you, their customer. They will take your deposit and fit you in around their other jobs. My job took more than 10 months to complete and there were no excuses for the delays. No professional business operates like this! They add no value to the steel manufacturing process. They are just looking for ways to raise a change request and charge you for their incompetence. If I could give this business a negative score I would. Please don't waste your time or money, this is not a business worth engaging with. Look elsewhere if you want a professional steel company.

Extremely rude doesn’t want to talk to you. Also a complete rip off, overcharged for steel without even looking at the size being cut.

As an inexperienced first timer in ordering a steel fabrication job, I have no hesitation in recommending John Drummond and team. I wanted to replace an existing external set of failed timber stairs with a steel stringer set onto which I would install decking. At their site visit I spoke directly with the fabricator to explain what I was trying to achieve, he worked out the exact dimensions, and three weeks later came and personally installed them, fully galvanised. Perfect fit first time, finished by 10 am. I don't know if the price was typical, but I was more than happy to pay it for the bespoke product I received.

Drummond Steel fabricated a complicated steel staircase balustrade for me. It was turned around in a couple of weeks, price was fair and it all went together perfectly.They have a no nonsense approach which is slightly confronting at first, but when in comes to steel fabrication, they know exactly what they are doing.
