Rise Artisan Bakery Ettalong
Had the plain, chocolate croissant & cannolis and they were very average. We tasted the sesame sourdough bread at the restaurant next door and it was delicious but as for the desserts it wasn't anything to write home about. The store had pidgeons and flies everywhere. The coffee was also decent.

Had the 48 fermented sourdough, it was so delicious. The selection of items you can buy in-store is excellent, it’s like a mini-deli. Coffee great. Pastries and pies look awesome. I only wish they were open more days per week!

Such beautifully crafted bakery goods - savoury and sweet. Beautiful coffee. Friendly small team that value quality, I’ve witnessed some customers are impatient with the occasional wait on coffee but no one is ever disappointed with the result. Love your work guys.

Rise makes very good Sourdough bread, one of the best, his 48 hour is particularly good. open Thur thru sunday, also makes great pastries, savouries, and the best sausage rolls and pies. Yes we've tried them all. can get very busy sometimes, sells out early do get there shortly after 8.00 am. Makes a very good coffee as well

This bakery is one of the three best in this vast region.Its heritage and traditions are Italian and now run by a couple of locals who salute the best of Italian and French bakes.Try their 48 hour sourdough or beetroot and walnut loaf, but get in early as they sell out quickly.Good coffee too, extra good if you slow down, sit down and enjoy the ambience of this busy corner.(PS: 4.5 stars for me, 5 is perfection and wonderfully unattainable on earth)
