Coles Five Dock
I usually find the customer service mostly ok at this store, but the Checkout staff this late evening (young man by himself at the fast lane checkout section) was quite rude - no greeting or eye contact, acted like he was mute when he was serving me. Low bar expectations these days I guess.

Beautiful clean store, well laid out, modern. Love the fresh flat bread. Store is well positioned in Five Dock. Parking here is now free. When Coles first opened, they only allowed you 60min free parking. Theres no time limit now. Much better for a mum with two kids. You can sometimes get amazing discounts here when they mark down fresh produce so keep your eyes out for this when they do!

Abysmal stocking practices. Staff are nice but management apparently hopeless. Shelves are often empty of staples. Went there today. No bread, very little meat.

God help any customer who needs to buy anything from the Deli department. Apart from 2 or 3 good employees, the rest are shocking. Again, I went to deli dept around 4.20pk today on public holiday and apart from 1 person serving and 4 people waiting, it didn't stop the other 2 employees working in dept stopping their personal conversation. Appalling but expected

No complaints here, just your run of the mill grocery store! Nicely located off of Great North Road and has a parking garage if driving in.Shelves are normally not as packed as I would like but staff have always been friendly and the store appears to be relatively clean! This is normally my go to store to shop for groceries in five dock.

This is the closest Coles now that carries a full range. The metal trolley's could be replaced with the black trolley's, which are lighter & more user-friendly.Disappointinly, though, the lamb boneless roast I purchased (well, in date, as dated on the packaging) was not right. It didn't smell like lamb & tasted like there was something wrong with it. Feedback: I believe Coles needs better food safety controls of pre-packed, refrigerated products. From supplier to shelf.

Just left Coles Five Dock after a quick shop with my wife and 2 year old son and was hit by a wall of cigarette smoke on the way to the car. Two Coles employees were smoking in the undercover walkway as it was raining. The smoke travelled all the way down the escalators too. They were in their work uniforms and one of them (with the red cap on) was constantly spitting as well. Feel free to check the cctv cameras.
