Awesome views for such a relatively short walk from the carpark - unsealed road access, but can do it easily without a four-wheel drive. Even good with children along!

3 good walks 1 really easy with paved path to a really good lookout, we took a pram no worries at all. The second one paved most of the way and the third is a bushwalk around the rock. There are toilets and information there.

Wonderful views. Hard work to get to the top if you're not fit. Be prepared to be attacked by March flies - the only down side to this place. We were here Jan 2022 and the March flies were relentless

Mount Frankland Wilderness Lookout
Feb/March 2023. Last time we were here it was Winter and the mountain was shrouded with cloud so there was no view other than whiteness. This year we came in Summer, and were delighted with the view of the wilderness to the horizon. It was worth the 27km drive along the corrugated dirt road.Best for me though was taking the 1.5km Caldyanup Trail from the Soho Lookout back to the carpark (Towerman's Hut). Though the narrow trail was covered with fallen dried gum leaves which made parts quite slippery, it provided an opportunity to see more of the Mountain and the trees up close.

Lovely walk. As usual when on the trails, watch out for snakes, we spotted two. Enjoyed the gorgeous views.

Mount Frankland Wilderness Lookout
A scenic drive and a great place for a nice sunrise/sunset. The summit has 360°views. The trail, though short, is quite steep with steps & ladders. We got there just after first light on a foggy morning, and the colours were magnificent!

Level 4 trek, requires a reasonable level of fitness. Mostly paved walkway and last bit has quite a bit of stairs but the reward at the submit is a breath taking 360 view. Photos do no justice, have to be there yourself

Mount Frankland Wilderness Lookout
This is more accurately described as the Mount Frankland Summit, the Wilderness Lookout is about 200m from the car park. The Summit by comparison, even though paved, contains a section with steep steps (ladder like), changing how accessible it is for most.Views at the top are stunning. Plenty of parking, toilets available.

This viewing platform offers stunning views for miles in most directions. The platform itself is also only a few hundred metres from the carpark
